The Dallas Morning News reports suspended DE Randy Gregory is in the process of applying for reinstatement.

Gregory hasn't appeared in a game since the final week of 2016. He's been "laying the groundwork" for a return and could meet with Commissioner Roger Goodell this offseason. EVP Stephen Jones said at the Combine he was moving forward without Gregory, but the Dallas Morning News expects the Cowboys to find a place for him if he's cleared. Despite not showing much before his suspensions, getting Gregory back would give the Cowboys a pass-rushing upgrade in subpackages.

I think the Rams are setting up their weak fan base to be disappointed.

To trade for Talib, Peters, and now sign Suh... it just screams LA marketing tactics. Gotta keep things interesting. Will those three head cases put the team over the top and win them a Super Bowl? Highly doubtful.

A team can only handle so many head cases. Still shocked the Eagles haven’t cut Bennett... and that they ever got him in the first place. That said, he’s only one head case on a championship team with a ton of chemistry. Bennett would be easy to cut.

I get a real 2011 “dream team” Eagles vibe with the Rams now.

But they have added some players, too -- just older ones. The incoming include Frank Gore (34), Danny Amendola (32) and Josh Sitton (31).

I'm reading the Dolphins aren't done making moves. They want to movie up in the draft to get Baker Mayfield but are having trouble getting a deal done. maybe something gets done on draft day?

So it seems there has been talk that the NFL instituted the new catch rules during the superbowl without telling both teams. Keep in mind the fact that all rule changes need to be voted on first to be implemented, but unreal if they actually went as far as to switch rules on the fly during the biggest game of the year.

The lack of integrity at the top in this league is just astounding and it grows by the day imo!

Exactly what I have been thinking while they make all of these moves. It's either going to be great or a disaster, nothing in between. I am sure they will be in the mix for the NFC West title again but if the Niners continue to improve they will have some competition and not run away with it. Not counting on Arizona to do anything. Right now the Seahawks are a big question mark. With Wilson they will always be in the discussion but there have just been too many changes to the roster, they aren't the Seahawks of old anymore. Whatever the case it's all going to be fun to watch!

The New York Daily News' Gary Myers reports Odell Beckham "has told a couple of Rams players he wants in."

The Rams also clearly want to acquire Beckham and reportedly have put the No. 23 pick on the table. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Giants are looking for "at least two first-round picks," however, and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Giants would have to be "blown away." That asking price could change if Beckham says he will not sign an extension, but right now it is unclear if the Rams are willing to give up a king's ransom while also agreeing to Beckham's lofty contract demands. It seems absurd for the Giants to trade Beckham, but there is enough smoke around this story to take it seriously.

Colts coach Frank Reich called Eric Ebron an "elite tight end."

As the league moves more toward man coverage, Reich said having an "elite" guy like Ebron helps the offense create one-on-ones. "Get all the receivers on one side, get the back on the other side, and then just put the tight end back here and see what (the defense) does," the coach said. "And then you get a linebacker, you get a safety, and if you get a tight end like Ebron, and even when they have a corner on him, you feel like it’s still a winning matchup, because of his size and catch radius." Reich is coming from an offense which utilized Zach Ertz all over the formation, and it sounds like he has similar plans for Ebron.
