I see three likely losses: at JAX (London), at New Orleans and at Los Angeles. Another three possible losses vs. Falcons, vs. Panthers and vs. Vikings, but those are at home. Bucs and Texans could be annoying if they're healthy, but I think we can win both. I'll assume we split with Dallas but sweep Washington and the Giants. I think something like 10-6 is realistic, hopefully 11-5.

ESPN's record projections for the NFL are always funny.

Guess they don't want to leave any fans with nothing to root for, but when only 5 teams in the league are predicted to have a losing record and the combined prediction is 66 games over .500, I can't help but chuckle.

They picked us to go 3-13 last season at this point. Predictions this far out are beyond silly.

If this goes through then I guess Baltimore is out of the Dez sweepstakes (not that I ever believed they were a realistic destination).

The Baltimore Ravens signed New Orleans Saints wide receiver Willie Snead to a two-year offer sheet, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The offer is worth $7 million with $3.4 million in incentives and includes a $2 million signing bonus, according to a source.

The Saints have five days to match the offer sheet to Snead, who is a restricted free agent.

I can see 9 or 10 games if Zeke performs & the receiving core sans Dez can perform. But I still have concern over the secondary so that can turn into 5-11 real quick.

49ers open the season against the Vikings.....there's nothing coincidental about that at all.

Only 3 games against playoff teams from last year.

Only 1 game on the East Coast.

Look out L.A., we're gunning for that number one spot...

If the Cowboys can upgrade at both S spots (tall order), at 1T and at DE, I could see the defense being good enough to carry this solid but flawed offense to 11 or 12 wins even in the NFC East. Prescott will only improve with a full season of Zeke and Smith and Bryant no longer being a distraction. Plus I see us bringing in a new "#3" receiver to groom while Williams, Witten and Hurns carry the load at receiver.
