You assume they themselves won't be in the race? It COULD happen, but honestly, if my Bears beat the Packers opening night ad have an 8-8 season, I'd be good with that.

It’s a tough division and a tough NFC. Not saying Chicago can’t be in the hunt soon, but I don’t think it’ll be this year.

See people claim the North will be huge, but the Packers and Lions did very little to upgrade. And they were both quote mediocre last year. Packers maybe even got worse. Rid their best receiver for a tight end who had one good year and has sucked ever since?

The Eagles made the Vikings look silly and now they add the massively overrated Cousins?

I think the North could be very blah this year.

Lions didn't have to do a lot. They went out and got their HC, and addressed the running. We're weak at a few spots but they'll be pretty competitive.

The Packers have pretty much been all Rodgers anyway, as long as he's healthy they have a chance to win the division or at least get a Wild Card. Cousins can be very good if he has weapons to throw to, which you can say about any otherwise halfway decent QB (which is what I think he is). And the Vikings obviously have some great weapons.

I dunno, I think there's a good chance at least two teams from the North make the postseason. NFC South is also competitive, three teams made the playoffs last season. Hopefully the NFC East has a repeat champ for the first time in forever. And Rams will almost certainly run away with the NFC West, even though the Niners looked promising at the end of the season.

This isn't NFL news but I thought you might get a laugh out of it.

The Washington Valor won the Arena Football championship. They went 2-10 in the regular season. The league only has four teams left so they all make the playoffs.

Yeah they were talking about it on the radio yesterday, normally I'd have changed the station but it was a nice change-of-pace from the perpetual BryceWatch that's been going on lol

I have CHI as one of my dark horses this year, I think they will do well.

The Patriots released often-injured receiver Jordan Matthews, who hurt his hamstring Sunday. They worked out Eric Decker yesterday so he could be an option because they're pretty thin at receiver.

Sounds like its time for the Annual "write off the Patriots since they have no weapons" that happens every year. I am still betting on Brady and Bellicheck and another 11-5 season. As I Dolphins fan I want them both gone.
