Of course losing Jimmy was devastating but there have been other key injuries this season and despite that the Niners have still been competitive in all but one of their games what has absolutely killed them this year in those competitive games has been turnovers and penalties.

No running game? As a team they are ranked third in the league. Breida has been tearing it up this year, has the best YPC in the league. He was playing well last night until aggravating his ankle injury but last night Mostert filled in nicely and before that Alfred Morris has been a great back up.

I'm not usually one to white knight my team because I am probably tougher on them than anyone but sometimes I swear people throw comments out there without any kind of facts or logic behind them.

Probably never happen all at once, but would feel sorry for all the other eligibles that year.

Giants owner John Mara thinks Odell Beckham "needs to do a little more playing and a little less talking."

"I wish he would create the headlines by his play on the field as opposed to what he says and what he does off the field," Mara added. It is good Mara has identified Beckham as the Giants' real problem and not Eli Manning's ever deteriorating skill set.

Could've invested in an O-line or drafted a new QB to learn from Eli during his last season or two but they had to spend the money on Odell. Not gonna play the blame game but I think there's plenty to go around (and Mara said as much in the same interview). Odell doesn't deserve all of it.

For some reason Aaron Rodgers isn't held to the same standard as other QBs. All he needs to do is go out there and stomp the bears and lions once a year to be the goat.
