Public Education, and particularly a College Education is very Highly Over-Rated. But anything that has taxpayer money directly, or indirectly, through student "loans" will be corrupt.

How can it not be standard procedure for the NFL to look for "videos" after any violence charges/police reports. What kind a shit show is Goodell running? Leading from behind, again.

Baddell is a massive bungler, Cowboys fans are going to rip the league several new holes unless he cleans this up ASAP. We're watching the Reuben Foster situation quite closely, too.

I just find it hard to pat a franchise on the back for cutting a guy 14 weeks into the season when they knew about this issue regardless of the video footage before the draft.
If the police couldn’t get a hold of the video how would the NFL/Chiefs?

Keep an eye on the Colts for Bell too. Can you imagine Reich’s offense with Luck AND Bell?

Of course when you're not making much of any attempt to look into the matter, sure they more then likely didn't see it because they sure as hell were not looking very hard if they didn't check the security camera footage.

Sorry if I don't buy that the Chiefs had no way to know about this, not when you have millions invested into someone and your chances of success hinge on them. The term is called plausible deniability and that stratagy seems to have worked on a few people here!

The Chiefs and NFL had access to the video in February and didnt bother watching it. The only reason they are acting now is because it leaked. They could have gotten out ahead of this instead its another Ray Rice incident.

Police officers, especially those on the scene, wouldn’t be able to obtain private video surveillance without a warrant. That would have to be done through the Prosecutor’s office. Cops are there to restore order and keep the peace, which they did.
Again, if this woman was so “in fear for her life”, why did she go back? Why not run away as fast as she could, like most logical people do when faced with a dangerous situation?

Sidenote to that, Hill has helped raise his 3yr old son and is engaged with the mother. So maybe that could be filed under making the most of a 2nd chance.

Whether they had the video or not the Chiefs/NFL should have been proactive and put him on the exempt list or suspended him 6 games that way when it inevitably does leak as it did theres no issues. The Owner of the Chiefs came out in august saying NFL wouldn't punish Hunt so why should he. Its just a bad look all around for a league already dealing with concussion issues and excessive domestic violence issues.

Good for him stepping up but still a piece of shit for punching a pregnant woman.

Not calling you out, but are you sure they had access to it back in February? The police were trying to get the video at the time to further investigate the alleged assault.

Both the league and KC probably waited to see what the Prosecution was going to do. They did nothing so it was business as usual.
Does that pass the smell test? Probably not, but NFL will always march right on.
They did after Ray Rice. They did after anthem protests. I’m sure they will after the next issue that pops up.

That’s my thoughts as well. I have no doubt the NFL wanted to do the right thing, but there lacked evidence and a victim willing to work with the investigation. Also, they were probably worried about being taken to court again by the NFLPA. We all know how quickly the NFLPA likes to involve the lawyers.

Rick come on man watch that video, he went back for seconds and no I really don't care what she might of called him or did to him. All he would of had to do is go back into his suite and shut the door behind him! Would of saved him 50-100 million and maybe a chance at the HOF and a lengthy successful career in the NFL. Even if he gets a second chance his road is a long bumpy one and he has no shot to have the type of career if he would of had he just closed the door behind him.

And your point on the video, do you really think a multi billion dollar orginization doesnt have their own people who look into situations such as this, i find that etremely unlikely.

That’s a bingo. Either way the NFL was going to take heat, afterall don’t they always? Lol!
This will probably be a non-issue by the 4pm games, and all the folks that claim to hate the NFL and will never watch...will just continue to watch.
