Philly schedule is kinda rough. If we perform to our potential then we'll be fine, but that's a big if.

After Week 2 the Raiders wont play a game in Oakland until November.

These bastards still hate us for Al Davis’ sins.

Garoppolo (if he can stay healthy ) will face Roethlisberger, Newton, Wilson, Rodgers, Brees, and Ryan this season. He's going to have his work cut out for him.

I think it has more to do with the fact that Kraft has denied doing anything wrong and has claimed he's innocent, even after it was known that the tape exists. He embarrassed himself by being in this situation in the first place. Probably would have been better to say he made a mistake, lapse of judgement, etc.

Gronk used the Lombardi trophy as a bat and now it has a nice dent.

One of the things I love most about the schedule release is the analysis afterwards. Here's an interesting tidbit, every single NYJ game is on the East Coast.

So the NFL sticks it to Philly by making them the only team(sans London “home” games”) to have three straight road games, because they think the Phillies might be in the playoffs, and don’t want a potential conflict.
You have got to be kidding me. It worked just fine when the Phillies were in the playoffs from ‘07–‘12 and winning a World Series.
Please tell me this is just Peter King being his typical windbag self.
Aaaaaand shocker, Dallas has back to back Thursday games during Thanksgiving, the fourth year in a row and 5/6 years.

For a league that strives for parity at all levels of their game, they really fumble the ball on Thanksgiving.

We have no margin for error in our schedule this year. Everyone has to be healthy, everyone has to be dialed in, can't take a single game off. I hope we're up to it.

I am more worried about him staying healthy than those matchups. Defense should be better this year though.
Newton and Ryan are up and down from season to season. Cam always has some kind of injury too.
At some point Roethlisberger and Brees ages are going to catch up with them, not saying they're gonna be bad this year but they're not at scary as they used to be, depends on their supporting casts.
Rodgers by himself is still scary but again, largely depends on his supporting cast.
Wilson, the Seahawks in general are just always a tough divisional matchup but hopefully they can steal one of the games this year.

For now I am just anxious about who they're drafting with the second pick. Help on the defense is needed but they also need to do something at the WR spot.

Yeah I was just alluding to the fact that Garoppolo faces 8 (10 if you count Goff) games against QBs that have either made an SB appearance or have won a SB. As far as the draft, I think the 49ers have to go with Bosa if Arizona does indeed take Murray. He's pretty much the consensus top pick so get him if they can, the secondary is still pretty bad but if they can establish a really good pass rush and start putting pressure on QBs, it will hopefully create more turnovers (something the 49ers were lousy at last year).

And I agree, a true superstar #1 WR would be nice to have again. They haven't had one since T.O.

hopefully the pats only go 8-8. With that schedule & everyone improving, it may happen. This "dynasty" has lasted WAY too long. brady and bill have to retire/die someday. will N.E. clone them?.....lol.

It's still way early yet but they still don't have a DC.

Their schedule this season is a cakewalk. Anything less than 10 wins should be considered a massive underperformance.

Patriots didn't have a DC last year either, it worked out alright.
