That was the most egregious screw job in front of a national audience I've seen in a while. The NFL will for sure be taking heat for that trash. Shit, they already are, Booger was going nuts and Scott Van Pelt led with it at the top of his show. This is gonna get interesting starting tomorrow:

Oct. 15-16 Fall League Meeting, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

A lot of bad calls throughout the game. Both of those on #90 were terrible calls.
The phantom 4th down touchdown that two officials were marking short of the goal line was also bad.
Saw at least a half dozen PI calls missed on both sides.
Sucks when it comes down to the Zebras altering the future.

Hopefully the Lions will focus more on the fact they had to settle for five field goals. Prater was amazing. At least one team in the league has a good kicker!

Somebody on Facebook pointed out that GB had 13 men on the field at one point and no flag. there’s a photo circulating the internet too.

Packers called a time out before the snap. No penalty as per NFL rules.

Rule 5 Players, Substitutes, Equipment, General Rules Section 1 Players
NUMBER OF PLAYERS Article 1

The game is played by two teams of 11 players each. If a snap, free kick, or fair-catch kick is made while a team has fewer than 11 players on the field of play or the end zone, the ball is in play, and there is no penalty. If a team has more than 11 players on the field of play or the end zone when a snap, free kick, or fair-catch kick is made, the ball is in play, and it is a foul.

Everyone blaming the refs for the Lions loss please do me a favor and STFU. It was the Lions 1st half mistakes that cost them the game not the refs.

1st drive of the game inside the 5 settle for FG after dropping a 66 yard bomb on GB it is now 3-0 instead of 7-0.

Lions recover a fumble leading to their 3rd drive of the game they drop another bomb on GB do not get into the end zone it is now 13-0 instead of 21-0

Now their biggest 1st half mistake. GB has it on the 15 it is 4th and 5 ... 12 men on the field giving GB a 1st and 10 from the 10, instead of 21-3 or 13-3 it is now 13-7.

You lose 23-22, that mental lapse that 12 men on the field THERE is your game. Not a blown call by the Refs. Those blaming the refs are nothing but losers.

DONT leave it in the Refs hands, leaving 8 points on the field and giving GB a 2nd chance with 12 men on the field is what cost the Lions the game those were the Lions mistakes. You win 30-23 if you dont leave those 8 points on the field and the conversation were having today is about how the Lions are in 1st place.

It does not excuse the shit officiating but it would change the narrative.

Nope. Lions scores enough points to win. Doesn’t matter how they scored. Were they perfect? Nope. But the refs kept GB alive with multiple bullshit calls.

If anyone is going to argue that the refs didn’t, then they’re an idiotic loser.

Ah really why dont you go ahead and look at them stats after the 1st quarter. Before you sit here and just blame the refs take a hard look at what the Lions truly did. All their damage was in the 1st quarter and they FAILED to put enough points on the board to win by only putting up 13 instead of 21.

Stafford had 188 yards the 1st quarter he had 77 yards the ENTIRE rest of the game for his 265

The Lions running game was non existent Johnson had 34 yards on the ground with 13 carries

The Hands to the face calls on Flowers yes were BS, the missed call on Jones was BS yes but it did not cost the Lions the game.

Until the Lions play a perfect game you cannot blame the Refs for whatever ineptitude's they had.

Of the 3 turnovers they had they only secured 9 points, BTW how you only gonna get 3 points starting on your opponents 25 as was shown in the 3rd Quarter.

The bad officiating had a hand in the Packers comeback but it was not the reason the Lions lost. They literally did Jack shit after the 1st quarter. They averaged 25.6 yards of offense from Quarter's 2-4. But I guess only an idiotic loser would put these stats together and not a Lions fan.

don't act like you're not happy when you're team wins.....regardless of how it happens.

Considering I seem to be the only Lions fan here not blaming the refs I think you see what kind of fan I am. I am happy with any win but I am not going to sit here and gloat about it as you are.

a dancing banana is considered gloating??

trust me, if I wanted to gloat, you'd know it.

Then my bad for misinterpreting it. Just seeing the banana and no criticism of how they played or were coached or how the refs extended 10 drives it came across as gloating to me.

I think we can all agree that the officiating needs more consistency. However, there are significant challenges in officiating accurately within the speed of the NFL game and the complexities of the rulebook.

Getting it right at the high school level is extremely difficult, I couldn’t imagine officiating an NFL game.

Agreed. Bottom line is that they need an eye in the sky overseeing this type of stuff PER GAME. The league makes money hand over fist and has grown by leaps and bounds and yet they can't/won't put some of that money back into their own effing product to ensure that what they put out on the field is sound, fair and just. It's corporate greed at the highest level. Be better, NFL.
