As I mentioned several days ago, Jerruh doesn’t need to fire Garrett. All he has to do is not renew his contract which is up next week, I believe.
This makes Jerruh look like a good guy to the next HC, and keeps things good with JG if he wants to come back to Dallas in some other capacity...like a sideline clapper, for example.

It’s clear Jerry really cares about Garrett. There’s nothing wrong with that, we are all people with emotions. Sometimes people forget that there’s a human element to this. It can’t be easy to essentially fire a guy that you’ve known for a long time and are fond of.

They didn't lose 3 of their last 5 games and had a bye, which they've NEVER made the SB without. Also Brady wasn't playing like shit. That's the difference.

Hell, at this point, Cam would probably be an upgrade over him, but there's probably zero chance Carolina lets him go at this point.

I think Brady's definitely injured though so, pick your poison, a 42-yo QB who is probably not going to simply avocado his way out of expected age-related injuries from here on out....OR...a 30-year old QB who has been nothing but injured the past five years and, in an effort to be more durable, has adopted the avocado way himself.
