Yeah that's possible. Just saying that they can be beat. Like I said before it would take an excellent game plan on defense to beat them. We have the pass rush to get to him without blitzing. Well we did before Bud Dupree got hurt.

i said before i wouldnt be surprised with whoever won between these two. i would just have to pick the Chiefs if i was a gambling man.

There's been a discussion locally this week about the Chiefs "allowing" teams to get back in the game vs keeping their foot on the pedal. The Bucs game was a (perceived) good example....

The defense has back to back interceptions and the offense go 3 and out in both possessions. Did Andy (or Eric) go conservative in their play calling once they get a decent lead? Does Andy not want to humiliate the opponent? I understand why these questions are asked. IMHO, the Bucs defense just stepped up and took away what the offense wanted to do.

The other example in the same game was the first possession when the called the play "Black Pearl". It didn't work (Kelce, I think could have ran it in the end zone, but hesitated both on the run and the throw..allowing the defender to get in position). So 4th down on the half yard line they took the 3 pts. When asked, Andy said it was early vs late in the game and he wanted the lead. I can see that. I also realize we don't have a BIG short yardage back and a depleted line that can get that yard on 4th down (and it's first possession).

It's an interesting discussion. I'm just trying to enjoy every week and not take it for granted. During the "Marty Years" I just assume we'd make the playoffs. Now I want to relish the reg season, as well. We could be a completely different team next year.

It feels like to me the Chiefs are coasting to get to the playoffs. They could be winning by a lot more.
