Consider this...DTV waits until the dust clears and then goes to the contract winner and tries to get an agreement to also offer it to current DTV subscribers as there are a ton of folks in rural areas that have DTV dishes, but slow internet that would not be adequate/suitable for streaming.

Not to mention, think about all the bars that have hardware already in-house that would most likely not going the streaming route and would lose the ability to show the games. They'd lose their asses in revenue.

Oh yea the directv for bars is real he even mentions it in the article.
The consumer part would be tricky though cause how do you make the call on whats adequate.

Seeing this is the Browns i fully expect Roger to announce a year long suspension of Watson within the next week or two.

A 5th round pick for Baker is a no brainer deal for the Panthers imo.

Watson’s suspension won’t be announced till the retired federal judge they hired comes back with her decision on what kind of punishment (if any) should be sought. At least by 7/26. And if she says there should be no punishment, then Roger can’t suspend him.

Sad to see Baker go, but the writing was on the wall for him. I am glad Carolina got him (the other team I follow).
