Subscribed to Sunday Ticket today. I was relieved to see that they broke up the fee into four installments.

The team really rallied around Brock so unless he comes out looking absolutely terrible, its his job to lose. Lynch and Shanny also think they have something with Darnold if needed.
I thought Jimmy's comments yesterday were really tame, about the last couple seasons being weird, so was a little surprised Kyle responded. His comments weren't all that harsh either but just out of character for him to even say something at all.
Ahh yes, next season may be back to the Cousins speculation, like it was before he landed in Minny, and before that it was Matty Ice to SF due to his connection with Kyle. Again, it will come down to how Brock performs and I don't think the Niners will want to spend the money Kirk is looking for when the alternative is to pay for a cheaper QB now, have a lot of other guys to pay in the short term.

I was at the bar the other night, sitting there drinking beers, with my good pal Dan Campbell. I chugged one, he chugged one. I chugged another, he chugged five more. I said Dan, slow down, you got a game coming up with the reigning champs! Dan looked at me and smacked me upside the head and said Steve, slow down, I'm just getting started!

You see folks, Kansas City might be the champs, but next week we are going to see a slobberknocker for the ages. Dan's crew, they're ready to bite kneecaps, they're willing to drown you in the ocean, they will do anything and everything to win and thats what they're going to do!

Before I go here, just a few other things I want to get off my chest...

Give me a HELL YEAH if you want Aaron Sparklepony to throw not one, not two, not three, but four interceptions!

Give me a HELL YEAH the greatest player of all time, Tom Brady, to win a Super Bowl as an owner!

Give me a HELL YEAH if you're ready for Lazy Sundays, case of beer, dozen chicken wings, and watching your team lose!

Gil Brandt definitely left his imprint on both the Dallas Cowboys and NFL History through his scouting and player evaluation efforts that were ahead of their time when he started out in 1960.

Finding "heart and soul" players from small schools like Cornell Green,Jethro Pugh and Rayfield Wright.Getting 3 All Time Great HOF Players in the 1964 Draft-Mel Renfro,Bob Hayes,Roger Staubach.Infusing the 1975 Cowboys Team with the "Dirty Dozen" Draft which added so many important contributing players that helped Coach Tom Landry continue his success through the late 1970's and early 1980's.Adding an All Time Great RB in Tony Dorsett via trade from Seattle in the 1977 Draft.And locating so many undrafted Free Agent Players that went on to outstanding careers.

Gil Brandt always praised the Great Dallas Cowboys Players that made the Team such an amazing part of NFL History and made clear his respect and admiration for Coach Landry.Fortunately he was acknowledged by the NFL and was enshrined in the HOF while he could enjoy his well deserved honor.

RIP Mr.Brandt,your place in history will never be forgotten.
