Your falling out of love with one of your star players, is something long time posters in this thread have seen before.
"his caliber" L O L - yes you can get someone with similar stats in FA, develop through the draft. Not gonna give Lance a shot?
I would absolutely give Lance a shot in camp. Cooper Rush has peaked as a manageable backup.

Prescott is a solid piece and not as easy to replace as people think. Pretty sure he's had a hand in us being (I believe) top 3 in wins since he came into the league. At some point, post-season success needs to matter. Garrett is a bum, McCarthy is an upgrade but so far not enough of one. We need to upgrade the entire team, which is going to be hard because Dak, CeeDee and Parsons are all about to get paid.

This seems like as good a place to ask as any but does anyone know if they'll make another one of those Super Bowl recap, blurays?

THey usually do. If so, it should be announced in the next couple of weeks.

Other than the occasional streaming hiccup the first few weeks I'd day YouTube NFL ticket was a success for me. Will sign up again next season.

All that's left, is for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce to appear with Snoop Dogg, in a Will Cotton inspired Music Video directed by Mathew Cullen....

I'm not going to say anything about Purdy I didn't already say. Nothing I saw this year changed my opinion of him.

because you can't - you didn't watch any full games of him - aside from maybe the DAL game.
You said you didn't watch the playoffs after the DAL loss
So maybe you are basing it from highlights or what you read from others online who share the same ill-informed opinion?
Because it can't be from stats, earlier this season you called him "checkdown merchant". When provided proof that this was absolutely nowhere near the truth ... crickets.
Your latest assertion is he can't win games he shouldn't. Two comeback wins in the playoffs in a row, the latter of which he willed the team to a win with ballsy passes, accurate throws, scrambles and smart plays.
So maybe you didn't watch the game so didn't see this?
Or you did watch the game and didn't see this?

People either buy into Brock Purdy or they don't.

I turned on the Super Bowl late to see if Mahomes would pull it off again and he did. Generally speaking I simply don't watch the play-offs once the Cowboys are out because I don't care about other teams that much beyond hating teams like the Eagles and the 49ers.

Chiefs were better prepared. Any Reid teams usually are. His bye week record is still great.

Spags is elite d coordinator in big games. The opposite of Dan Quinn.

Heres the problem with qbs like dak & purdy
Look at the qbs that have won the SB especially recently with the rule changes
Almost all of them are either in HOF or in HOF discussion
The few exceptions were 1 & done
Are dak & purdy future HOFers ??

I have nothing negative to say about the Chiefs, Reid, Mahomes at all. Like I said earlier in the thread, I was never confident about a Niners win, at all. Chiefs are perennial winners, defending champs. They struggled during the regular season but found that championship gear at the right time. I can't bet against Mahomes and Reid even when its my team going up against them.
Props to them, they did their thing, were the better team.
The shine on Reid is so bright, and deserved, now that people forget about all of those early 00's PHI teams that came up short in the NFCC and SB games - I am hoping Shanny can have this too one day.

waayyyy too early to tell on Brock - this was his second year.
As far as Dak if he can sustain his statline throughout the rest of his career he is likely HOF-bound even without a ring. The DAL branding certainly doesn't hurt either.

Can't believe that terrorism took place at the Chiefs parade. ABC News reporting that 3 have been arrested.

Default KC SB Victory Celebration shooting at Union Station

KANSAS CITY, Mo. —

Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves said the total of victims of Wednesday's mass shooting outside Union Station has increased to 22.

That includes one person who died in the shooting.

The Kansas City Fire Department says eight victims had 'immediate life-threatening injuries,' seven had life-threatening injuries, and six had non-life threatening.

Victims were transported to three different hospitals: Children's Mercy Hospital, Truman Medical Center, and St. Luke's Hospital.

Children's Mercy Hospital says that they are treating 11 children at the hospital, including nine gunshot victims.

Graves also said three people are detained now.

Graves said officers immediately responded to the area and performed life-saving measures to aid victims.

I wouldn't use words like Terrorism to describe the shootings today, that's irresponsible to label the shootings BEFORE we have any facts.

I'd recommend if anyone is interested to go to the Kansas City Star's website. It's our local paper. Getting information off twitter or guessing is not what we need right now.

Locally, they are reporting 1 person dead, 22 injured and of those 9 are children.

They have 3 in custody. The reason behind the shooting is not known at this time.

Here's the star's website:
