Mike Brown is just being stubborn here and rather than help his team he'll let Palmer sit out the year, and then likely trade him next year for less than he could get if he traded him now.
I hope we do the right thing and find a Good Role Model for dalton to help him out. I think Dalton is only 6 Months away from starting, he's definately our future. He was in College for 5 Years, and He is used to a winning culture in TCU. I think he's mature neough to get it done. If we can pick up Orton, or say a Vet QB to train him up that would the best thing to do.

We have alot fo money to shop i think around 50 Million I heard, hopefully we get some pieces

I'm curious to see what these teams sitting far below the cap will do. Teams now have to have to spend 89% of the cap. Some teams have to spend >$30 mill to get there. Tampa Bay for example showed a lot of promise in 2010 despite having the lowest payroll in the league.

Having to spend at least 107 million will definitely level the playing field.

It will also cause a lot of players to get MORE money than they are worth I think. Anyone know what the actual punishment is if you don't make it to the salary floor? (looking at you fatediesel, you know everything)

Someone at work mentioned that the NFL lockout ending might act as a stimulus for jumpstarting the U.S. economy thanks to fantasy football. It's gotten so big he might actually be right.

I'm starting to think the NFL itself could be big enough to jump start the economy.

Not just that move, they also drafted Jake Locker far too high.

It was nice to see Ryan Fitzpatick be the first Bill to report to work for this season. He knows this is the make or break year for him. After his solid play down the stretch last season, I'm eager to see what he can do being the #1 guy from day one. I hear the Bills are trying to sign Thigpen to be his backup, I would be very happy with that since he has a prior knowledge of Gailey's offensive system. With the new uniforms and playing surface at The Ralph, I'm hoping it can be a new direction for the Bills. I'd love to see us improve by several games and start to finally turn things around.

Cowboys informed RG Leonard Davis of his release.
Dallas is freeing up cap space, here getting itself off the hook for $6 million worth of salary. Davis can still play in a power-blocking scheme, ranking in the top half of NFL guards in Pro Football Focus' ratings the past two years. The Dolphins could be a team to watch, as Davis went to the Pro Bowl in 2007 under coach Tony Sparano. Contrary to a previous report, ESPN Dallas' Calvin Watkins now expects the Cowboys to hold onto RT Marc Colombo.

I've never read anything about what would happen if a team didn't hit the floor. I would assume they would get fined the amount under the cap they were (the fine would go to the NFLPA) and would guess they'd lose a draft pick as well. Since teams don't have to reach the salary floor until the end of the season teams that are close to being under the salary floor could just restructure or extend current players deals and move future money into the current year.

Also, Adam Schefter said the Cowboys will release running back Marion Barber.

He was just at the Ranch and left without talking to the press, I would imagine he was informed of his release. Good riddance and we'll be fine without him, have 3 better runningbacks on the roster.

Yeah this is a good move. I love MBIII's heart and determination but the wear and tear was showing big time the last couple of years. He wasn't even good on goal line runs anymore.

So that turned out to be about as bad as the Joey Galloway trade after all, well done Jerry.

Who cares at this point. Looking back isn't going to help anything. He's gone now, move on.

Just wonder who the #3 is going to be this year, probably one of these 3 -
Kevin Ogletree
Manny Johnson
Sam Hurd
Not bad choices at all, really hope it's Johnson though, man was a TD machine in college.

Hearing reports the Giants released O'Hara and Seubert, surprised by the former, O'Hara is still a solid center.

It would make sense since Sidney worked with Bevell but I think the Vikings is making their first priroty to re-sign Sidney
