I'm quoting analysts for every major sports publication, it is obvious to everyone but you they are not the same old Lions they have depth on both sides of the ball and a potential top 10 defensive unit in the league this year, and the best WR in the game. Yes it has been 10 years since the Lions have made the playoffs and yes they only have 1 playoff Win in the last 54 years, however for all that time what do the Vikings have... O yeah same thing no SB victories which is all that matters.

But if you really want to we can talk about your only NFL Championship which was in 1969 compared to the Lions 4 which occurred in 35, 52, 53 and 57, yes you guys have won 18 Divisional titles since your inception combined with 26 playoff appearances but it means dick if you don't win the superbowl, which is the same for us our 4 championships mean nothing because they occurred pre 1970... So for all your talk you have won the same amount as us.

BTW last year Lions offense Ranked 15th in the League, Lions Defense Ranked 19th

Minnesota ranked 29 in offense last year and 18th in Defense

Hmm which team is favored to contend for the NFC North this year with Green Bay... Lions again

Which team is favored to finish dead last in the division... that would be o yeah Minnesota.

Minnesota is a 35:1 Odd this year
Bears 35:1 Odds
Lions 22:1 Odds
Packers 6:1

So yeah Keep spewing it Minnesota Boy I can do this all night.

Please explain to me how facts is smack talking, I am using nothing but proven historical facts here? Are you upset because since 1970 your team has done the same crap mine has which is nothing. The only difference is I admit our flaws, your only argument is how bad we were the last 10 years you still have yet to accept how bad your team is today.

I admit the Vikings are a terrible team last year and will be a terrible team this year due to new coach, new scheme, past his prime quarterback, rookie quarterback, terrible offensive line, terrible wide receivers (Besides Harvin and average Jenkins) and average defense, happy now?

Can I jump in and say I think the Bears will finish last in the division? The Packers should finish first and I think 2nd place will be a real good battle between the Lions and Vikings. It will all come down to wether Mcnabb reverts to his normal self or if Stafford stays healthy.

I would be very suprised if the Bears finish last in the division but I would be very happy if they do since they have not been in the cellar since who knows when?

Umm lol the Bears will not finish last, they addressed a lot of there issues this off season. Picked up Williams and Barber, filled O line holes, picked up 2 blocking TE, D is still good, Hester still returning punts yeah bears gonna be good, fact of the matter is while Bears didnt pickup any huge FA names they filled the holes they needed to and addressed the depth issues they had last season.

They picked up Dallas's scraps but I am not sure if that will be enough. There schedule will be much tougher since they are playing a first place schedule. They showed last year they couldn't beat the good teams. Green Bay is better. Minnesota is a year removed from being a superbowl contender. Now that they fixed there QB problem they should be better. And I feel the Lions will jump ahead of them as well.

You just made my point for me. It looks to me like they will start 0-3 and likely be 2-5 or 1-6 by there by week. Then the Cutler boo birds will be out and the season will be lost. I predict 6-10 overall at best.

3 years? What makes you think that it takes 3 years for their quarterback and wide receiver to gel?

Mcnabb at best is only a 1 - 2 year solution at which point they will bring in the rookie who will have only had limited snaps. How many years now have we heard Harvin solved the Migrane issues? What ... 2 Now? Minn has no stud WR anymore Harvin is the best option they got, which also means next year they have to draft a WR which will take another 2-3 years to build him up in terms of weight and conditioning learning the schemes, dissolving the rookie mistakes etc. No Minn is stuck where they are for the next 3 years when they like everyone else in the league makes a play after next year for Calvin.

They gonna split Det and possibly GB, Should beat Sea, Min x2, TB, Oak, Car, and Den The only games they have to worry about are Phily, SD, KC, Atl and NO and 2/3 are possibly pushes, I can see them taking SD and KC out of that which should get them to either 9 or 10 wins. Actually with that scenario that puts them at 11-5

He might be a short term solution but that is all they need. They were one bad throw away from being in the superbowl 2 years ago. The thing that fell apart was the QB situation last year and it is now significantly improved. Mcnabb is much better then Cutler. Harvin is better then any receiver on the bears. What chemistry do they need? They are vets. They will figure it out. I am not talking about 2-3 years from now. I was predicting where they will finish this year and I think Chicago will finish last in that division.

Detroit is not going to defeat the Vikings twice, the last time Detroit swept the Vikings was in 1997

Im surprised ricky picked the ravens because they dont play on a "grass" field.

Maybe hes so doped up they told him they do & he bought it.

edit:
PFT says he ratted out the lions saying they wanted him last year even though he was still under contract for the fins.

Can you say Tampering !!

What a dufus.

You are missing my point. Stating they have a first place schedule is misleading. It doesn't make a huge difference. It only affects 2 games off their schedule: @PHI and SEA. That's it.
