11 Championships would be more fitting, with two of them coming as Starting Quarterback and Head Coach.

he's gonna nudge bellichek out of the way and run not only the offense, but the team as well.

seriously, any talk of a hall of fame career after 2 games is beyond dumb.

Shows a complete lack of knowledge regarding the game, in any sport really. As far as Brady goes, I imagine he runs the Patriots offense much like Peyton runs the Colts', he's the real offensive coordinator, the coach is just for show.

Okay, when Jordan started the first 2 games, I bet all Bull fans and everybody else talked about Michael is a Hall of Famer and look, he went into the Hall of Fame

First of all there's more to be a HOFer than throwing for a lot of yards. There's being a leader, winning games, throwing critical touchdowns, setting records. Cam Newton has the ability but he's on one of the least talented teams in the NFL. I'd wait 2-3 seasons before crowning him anything, much less a HOF QB.

Coach Jim Harbaugh acknowledged Wednesday that Braylon Edwards is "gonna be out for a little bit" after "having a little procedure done" on his right knee.
Edwards appears to be much more week to week than day to day, though Harbaugh declined to elaborate. Look for Michael Crabtree to start until his balky foot acts up again. Avoid 49ers wide receivers in all fantasy leagues. Edwards can confidently be dropped in 12-team formats after catching just four passes for 48 yards in the first two weeks. He'll likely miss multiple games.

I didn't even watch cam newton but yardage really means nothing nowadays... I saw gronkowski or whatever gain like an extra 15 yards because a moron was trying to strip the ball the whole time and not tackle him....how many fumbles are there a game? Usually not more than 1 if you're lucky.... How much yardage plus 1st down and/or Tds do you give up trying to strip the ball? Smh

when u take into account super bowls....nope.

and neither is marino....although u have to take into account that he never really had a great recv'r to throw to.

u can be a great QB and get all the records there are to have....but if u can't get to and win the biggest game what's the point??

Dude, I think it's safe to say Favre, Manning, and Marino are "all-time greats". Agree that it's beyond premature to call Newton a Hall of Famer, but here's hoping he gets it done.

i've seen numerous spots on espn where they've discussed "all time greatest" QB's.

yes, marino, manning, and favre are great and are all hall of famers (or future), don't get me wrong.....but every single spot i've seen, they don't classify these guys as THE all time greatest QB. or even in the top 3.

and they all came back to the # of super bowl victories they have/had.
