Freakin’ hilarious!!!

“My Peyton Man-thing?”
Favre was a douche and a prima donna and he broke the interception record and he sexually harassed women, I honestly think all of that should keep him out of the HOF but it's not up to me.

But with only 3 interceptions. Better than Newton's 11 TDs - 10 INTs and Flacco's 10 - 7.

He cared about #’s no matter what he ever said in an interview.

If Rodgers is the same way, he sure as hell hasn’t made it clear by any of his actions so far…..unless u consider playing out of his mind caring about #’s.

The biggest thing I like about Rodgers is he doesn’t appear to be comfortable w/all of the attention he’s getting. He seems like a down to earth guy that cares about his team mates.

He puts in the work needed to succeed in this league and he’s reaping the benefits from that hard work.

I hope the Redskins do something nice for London Fletcher when he breaks Favre's consecutive starts record, which I think should count, even if he's not a QB. Wish the elder Manning had been able to pull it off too.

it's more impressing coming from a QB who takes hits vs. giving them.

Arguable, QBs don't have to chase receivers and backs down the field and don't have to block linemen on just about every play or play special teams(unless their name is Tony Romo)

London Fletcher is nowhere near Favre's consecutive starts streak because he hasn't started his whole career, and has only started 172 consecutive games. Ronde Barber has the longest current consecutive games streak at 192 games. He would have to play about 6 1/2 more years to break Favre's consecutive start record and that seems unlikely as Barber is 36 and it seems unlikely he could keep playing that long.

Fletcher and Barber are tied in consecutive games played at 217 but neither of them will be able to touch the consecutive games played record of 352 games that punter Jeff Feagles holds.

Dang I had no idea Feagles played that long, cannot believe the Giants waited that long to get a new punter.

10-9 how do you figure??? You think the Browns will score on two safeties???? You know we only score in increments of 3!

Ben Roethlisberger broke his right thumb in last Sunday's win over the Bengals.
Now there's reason for some concern. Although Roethlisberger finished out the Cincy game without a problem and says he will play when the Steelers come out of their bye, the damage is to his throwing hand. That's always a tricky injury to play with, even if he's fitted with some kind of glove or wrap. It's a situation to monitor closely during the bye. Charlie Batch is the backup.

I think (hope) we'll start playing well again, but all of our injuries are really starting to mount up. Best case scenario for us is for us and New York to be neck and neck for a wildcard. I can't imagine the Patriots wanting to let Sexy Rexy and the Jets into the playoffs. It's a longshot, but a guy can dream.

I know you don't care much for Favre, but there is no denying he's one of the best to ever play the game. Besides, if Michael Irvin can make it into the Hall of Fame with all his issues, then Favre has no worries at all. I personally think personal problems should have no bearing on a player making it to Canton. The only thing that should matter is how one performed on the field.

lol thats the thing, I think he's one of the best, but one more Super Bowl and he will pale in comparison to Aaron Rodgers in the eyes of packers fans (or at least thats what I think)

I think he already does, they're off to their best start since I believe 1964 with Rodgers at the helm and he just won them a Super Bowl. Not to mention he's a much better person than Favre and doesn't make nearly as many mistakes.

rodgers is better liked ( is that right?? ) than favre was/is.

he's a great player, he seems like a stand up guy, he doesn't appear to enjoy being in the spot light (he's humble), and he's had great success since taking over.

and to top it all off, he's not a narcissitic douche!!

ASHBURN, Va. -- The Washington Redskins have placed receiver Leonard Hankerson and defensive end Kedric Golston on injured reserve and re-signed receiver Donte' Stallworth and defensive end Darrion Scott.

Third-round pick Hankerson tore the labrum in his right hip, and Golston injured a pair of knee ligaments in Sunday's 20-9 loss to Miami.

Hankerson was hurt during his first 100-yard receiving game in the pros, while six-year veteran Golston has played in all nine games this season and was a regular part of the defensive line rotation.

Tuesday's moves make Hankerson and Golston the sixth and seventh Redskins players on IR this season.

Stallworth and Scott both were cut by the Redskins as part of a flurry of roster moves last week. Stallworth has five catches this season, while Scott has not played.

Kind of a no brainer with the way he was playing

Quote:
Owner Jerry Jones confirmed that DeMarco Murray will remain a "workhorse" even though Felix Jones (ankle) is expected back Sunday.

It's a no-brainer. Over the last four games, Murray has averaged 150.2 rushing yards per game while breaking off 8.01 yards per carry. "One thing that comes to my mind is that Murray looks like the more he carries, the more effective he gets," Jerry Jones said. The owner went on to hint that Felix could "step in" 12 or 13 times per game, but we'd be surprised if he got that much work. Murray is locked in as the feature back.

Well with Matt Schaub out my fantasy team has now been squashed. My backup is Kyle Orton.
