Divisional round opening playoff spreads:

New Orleans over San Francisco by 3.5
New England over Denver by 14
Baltimore over Houston by 7.5
Green Bay over NY Giants by 9

Lots of big spreads as expected. I'd probably take the over on all four games.

Because the Pats aren't missing key players, Tom Brady isn't banged up and the game is at New England not Denver... that's why.

Tampa Bay will also interview Houston Texans defensive coordinator Wade Phillips and a source told ESPN.com senior NFL writer John Clayton that the meeting will happen Friday.

The Pats are the first 1 seed ever to make it to that point without having beaten a +.500 team all season. Sure the Broncos only finished at 8-8 but the odds were stacked against them in this game versus the number one ranked defense in all of football. And the Pats barely beat teams like the Colts and got down big early in their last 2, 3 games? That may end up cutting it against the Broncos but the Ravens or NFC champs won't be so forgiving.

This isn't a Tebow thing I'm pushing, he's done just enough to win...this is more of a Bronco's D and running game thing. I mean why don't ya'll just give the Bronco's some respect for winning this game and not take the chance of looking like morons and going all in on one team. I'll bet you were some of the guys who were "so sure" that the then 18-0 Pats were going to demolish the Giants.

You especially Wolvie. You're probably basing your pick off of their last meeting where the Pats beat the Broncos but then base your NFC divisional Giants/ Pack off of what? The fact that they kept it close?

Show me where I argued against my own team and I'll show you the scores from next week. Just because I'm not as obnoxiously clairvoyant about my team doesn't mean I don't think they're good enough to win. I just want to know why you're so sure of team that had a soft schedule and still managed to lose a couple of what you probably called "gimmes"?

That will be funny if Robert Griffin returns to Baylor. I thought he'd already announced for the draft but apparently he's undecided. Landry Jones and Matt Barkley already passed on the draft. If Griffin does it's possible Andrew Luck is the only QB to go in the 1st round. Not sure what Griffin has to prove though. He's already got a Heisman and his draft stock won't get any higher.

He has to turn pro. He's guaranteed to be the #2 QB picked this year, next year he does not have that guarantee.

if he doesn't go he loses a lot of money, but the day after he won the Heisman they asked him what would make him stay and he said "continuing to grow with my team. i came here to help turn Baylor into a great football program and we're heading in the right direction and i don't know if i want to leave that now" and stuff like that. which i think is kind of cool.

if i was heading to a pretty crappy football school and my goal was to help them become more well known and better appreciated, i may stay to help do that, especially since they're having success. yeah, he personally likely won't have a better season, but as a team they could, so he has some reasons to stay.
