It was 24-21 when he got hurt. Not like they were dominating until he got hurt.

Still going to start Roethlisberger over Ryan since Roethlisberger is also due for a big game and is going up against a much worse secondary and also a defense with its 2 best pass rushers out for the season.

Greg Jennings likley to miss another 4 weeks!!!

WBAY-TV in Green Bay reports Greg Jennings will indeed undergo surgery to repair an abdominal tear.

that may have costed him his big free agent deal he was hoping to get after this year.

either that or it may have costed us a recv'r. no way Thompson is gonna offer him big time money after missing most of this season. so i'm assuming unless he's willing to take a smaller deal to stay in Green Bay....some other team (probably the Vikings b/c they always pick up our guys) will sign him to a deal.

Jordy Nelson will be held out of practice again on Friday, and won't test his hamstring until Saturday or Sunday.

The hamstring pull "sounds a little worse than first thought," says the Green Bay Press-Gazette. If he's not going to test the hamstring before the weekend, Nelson's best-case scenario is a game-time decision. We would have a hard time sitting one of fantasy's hottest receivers if he suits up, but Nelson will be dropped in our Week 8 rankings on Friday. If Nelson does sit out, Randall Cobb and James Jones are borderline WR1 options while Donald Driver and Jarrett Boykin pick up extra snaps.

Maybe but its obvious Jones is the receiver to have this week if thats the case as he wont be 100%

jones has stepped his game up this year w/jennings being sidelined. he's almost guaranteed 100 yards and @ least 1 td this weekend.

cobb will be right there w/him too!!

Porter was listed as out for the Broncos last Monday, Denver's big comeback win over San Diego. The injury report simply chalked it up to "illness," and no one asked too many questions, because hey, people get sick. But Porter revealed today that it was something potentially much more serious, and, nearly two weeks later, has yet to be cleared by a doctor to return.

"I had never had [a seizure] before, 26 years I've been living," Porter told The Denver Post, until he had one in August. Porter missed a chunk of the preseason, also chalked up to "illness." He was there in the Saints weight room when Jeremy Shockey suffered a own seizure in 2010, so he already knew how scary they can be.

Porter said that the day before the Chargers game, his pulse started racing and he felt lightheaded—the same symptoms that struck before his August seizure. Team doctors decided he shouldn't fly to San Diego, and stayed home. After the bye, he finally returned to practice this week, but saw a doctor this afternoon in the hopes of getting cleared for Sunday's game against New Orleans. There's no word on an underlying cause of his issues.
