You have 3 scenarios that could have come out of the game

He Plays you win - Everyone happy

He gets pulled They lose - The coach gets blamed for pulling the player

He plays Tears his ACL and is debatable for next year - The coach gets blamed cause he got injured.

Fans cant have it both ways, this is the playoffs and If he had lost without aggravating his knee more no one would say anything other then ok we lost. Seriously ppl need to chill out the guy played he got hurt shit happens.

Sorry no. Everyone except apparently RG3 and Shan knew that keeping RG3 in the game was hurting the team. Several of us were discussing how big of a mistake it was before he got hurt.

The biggest culprit is... FedEx field, it claimed Adrian Peterson last year and Chris Clemons and RG3 this past Sunday.

ESPN Radio out of Washington issued then retracted a report that RG3 tore his ACL and PCL and will be out 14-18 months.

Up 14 (or even winning up until 7:15 seconds left in the 4th) and not once you don't think maybe let the backup play ball control I'd do that in madden let alone with a kid who just turned a 26th PPG dud of an offense into a top5 scoring team, and single handedly saved a franchise.

hindsights easy now that we see how awful he did. 6 drives for 40 yards is awful, and yeah we had drops, fumbles, and bs, but that means nothing now. Shanny thought he could run the table with 1 guy and this is the second time [remember he tried with McNabb], and now if RG3 is gone most of next season. shanny will get his chance to prove this is a good TEAM, and not a godly 1 man show.

My guess that line will be even worse with no RG3 they'll go from 23rd to 30s Cousins will get injured or be blitzed to hell David Carr style, and we'll have Rex back with the shannys on the ropes.

Why didn't Peyton play last year? Or Brady in 08 after the KC game? If playing through injuries because you've had past success is an indicator of future success than injuries in theory would be meaningless.

Because the Doctor on the sideline didnt clear them the way that RG3 was cleared. A DOCTOR CLEARED HIM TO PLAY, Shanahan is not a Doctor, the doctor on the sideline yesterday which if I heard correct was James Andrews himself said RG3 was good to go. Shanahan as well as RG3 listened to the advice of medical doctors before going back in.

Peyton was not Medically cleared after 2 neck surgeries, and in 08 Brady was also not cleared. You guys can sit here and argue this all you want now that he has been injured for possibly upto 18 months, plain and simple he was medically cleared so he played.

This is the first time im seeing that story, now if it is true and he ignored the advice of doctors then yeah you have a very legitimate argument and I wont sit here and dispute it.

Everything that's been reported has said he was medically cleared to play. And even that article confirms he medically cleared him. It may have been reluctant but he still did it.

Of course you dont trust him your upset your Franchise guy is done for what looks like 18 months. Id be miffed if I was a skins fan and not upset over the situation myself. Im not a Redskins fan, so its easier for me to say no dont bench a guy, but then again my team has watched every superbowl for since its inception from the comfort of there living rooms.

I'm more upset I don't think he'll be able to build a team around RG3. Alf success is all RG3, and you saw the cowboys mitigate allot of the read play action by dropping LBs and Safeties and I'm sure that will translate to next year. Take away RG3 he's done nothing in the time he's been here. You've got idiot fans who don't realize just how bad the team around RG3 is and think Shanny deserves more time... Lets not forget the guy had to win 7 straight! So he could get into the position he's in.
