Maybe he'll pull a Stevie Johnson and blame god.

Again way to make a non-issue into a major topic lol. It's an exploratory internal discussion. That is all that was reported. Not interest or a desire to sign him to an incentive laden deal. Good grief people. Oh and Chad I highly doubt your friend has ever been as talented as Jamarcus was. He was still a very good QB for a good LSU team. Let's not completely get out of control here. Yes he has the work ethic of sieve and has more adipose tissue than Kate Hudson, but he was a talented college QB who while in shape was a good player. I never thought I would have to talk up JaWalrus' skill set lol.

Even at his age, he's a very good linebacker. But his biggest asset is his leadership, he's one of the best emotional leaders the game has ever seen. I have a lot of respect for what he brings to the game, he's a hell of a lot of fun to watch. I'll really miss his pregame dance, that even fires me up sitting on the coach! And as a man of faith, I really love how he isn't afraid to give thanks to the guy upstairs.

If you plugged in Willis or even London Fletcher that defense probably would still be just as competitive maybe not as "pumped up" but I'm sure their on the field play wouldn't suffer like everyone thinks.

I hope Kaep trucks his old a$$
I'd be careful. You guys own Lewis now. He's a Maryland grad.

I'll admit a lot of it was wishful thinking. Adding JaMarcus Russell to the Jets clown car of Sanchez, Rex Ryan, Tebow and Co. would have been a lot of fun. Put that mess on Hard Knocks and it's ratings gold.

Speaking of which, it would not surprise me at all to see the Jets back on Hard Knocks next year if the Dolphins decline to come back. Woody Johnson LOVES staying in the headlines.

There were very few teams willing to do Hard Knocks last year. I think it was only the Dolphins, Jags and maybe one other team. The Jags owner seemed to want it the most. But even being a Jags fan I'll admit the team is boring as hell and I'm sure they'd be at the bottom of HBO's wish list. Hopefully the Jets get back on Hard Knocks.

Is Cromartie still with the Jets? I wonder if he can name his 8 kids + how ever many more he has now.

Believe it or not he has 12 kids now. Three were born in 2012, including twins. The Jets have had to give him several salary advances so he could pay child support.

Quote:
In March 2010, the Jets provided Cromartie with a $500,000 advance so he could make outstanding child support payments. Cromartie married Terricka Cason, who starred on E!'s Candy Girls, on July 2, 2010. Cason gave birth to a daughter in April 2010 and a son in early 2012. In mid-April 2012, it was reported that Cason was expecting twins in November 2012, bringing Cromartie's total to 12 children.

At least he's having kids WHILE married. That's the only good thing about this.

IGF-1 cannot be delivered orally so the spray is pretty much ineffective in that case. It has to be delivered by shot.

The timing of the report is interesting though...

No one is making this into a major topic, most of us are just laughing at the fact once again its the Jets. The Jets have a long way to go to change the perception of the fanbase around the NFL. Naturally any story posted about some over the hill QB that weighs as much as your coach does is going to garner a good laugh and unfortunately you are going to have to deal with it as a fan of that team until they get there shit together.

Look at the stories no other team was linked to the Walrus Russell only the Jets, and there are 13 teams in search of a QB and a backup yet only the Jets were listed.

I would actually take JaMarcus's "comeback" ever so slightly seriously it he were now down to 260 pounds or so. But the fact that he's still over 300 lbs shows the guy still is not taking things seriously.

I'm giving Lewis a pass here. He should have admitted to using deer antler spray like Vijay Singh has (where he volunteered no less) but I give the pass because of the spray itself.

- The spray is unregulated meaning whether it actually contains IGF-1 is unknown or can vary from bottle to bottle.
- IGF-1 has been said by many in the medical field that taking it orally has no effect. Must be injected.
- IGF-1 is highly unstable if not strictly maintained in a controlled environment. Given this antler spray is never stored in a controlled environment by SWATS or whoever sells it for them, that pretty much makes the spray useless from before it's even used.

I give him a pass on the substance but it's the act that bothers me, if you'd risk getting caught on something that has less igf-1 then a very large glass of milk what will you try that will be effective.
