My gut feelings on the draft tonight:

Geno will be drafted by the Raiders, they would be stupid not to but if they get a huge offer to trade down that they could not pass up, I think the Raiders will turn it down and still draft Geno just to piss Chief fans and when is the last time the Raiders had a franchise quarterback?

Jaguars might draft Geno but I think it is too early to give up on Blaine so I am feeling they will draft Dion over Geno

Bills will draft Nassab at #8, yes you heard that right

Jets wiill draft Tavon Austin at #9

Vikings will trade up at #19 with the Giants to get Manti Teo so the Bears will not get him, no idea what the Vikings will do with the #25 pick though

No idea what the other teams will do

That is my gut feelings

A bust

In all seriousness, I think they will be drafting a safety, maybe Elam

In Todd McShay's latest mock draft he has Eric Fisher going #1 and Luke Joeckel falling all the way to the Chargers at #11. There's been a lot of talk about Fisher going #1, but even if that happens I can't see Joeckel falling past the Cardinals at #7. McShay has the Cardinals take guard Jonathon Cooper, and since the Cardinals have needs at guard and tackle I can't see them going with Cooper over Joeckel. McShay also has 2 quarterbacks going in the top 8, with the Browns taking Geno Smith and the Bills taking Ryan Nassib.

Neither would fall past the Lions at 5

I wouldn't mind the Falcons grabbing Lattimore if he's available at 92.

If I were a betting man, I'd say if the Falcons move up, it's to #22....

Quote:
In other draft rumblings, league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter that the San Francisco 49ers, who are scheduled to pick 31st in Thursday night's first round, are in discussions with teams to try to move into top 15.

The St. Louis Rams, meanwhile, are doing what they can to unload their second first-round pick -- No. 22 overall, acquired last year from the Washington Redskins in the trade that allowed Washington to select Robert Griffin III -- to pick up other selections in the draft, league sources told ESPN.

What about the Colts? McShay and Kiper thinks a CB, but I wouldn't mind Bama's RB.

Eddie Lacy is good but he was always a step behind Ingram and Richardson and probably if he were to remain would have been downgraded behind Yeldon.

He could be awesome, but I wonder why he couldn't ever beat out Richardson and Ingram.

I really hope the Bills don't take Nassib at 8. The Kolb signing was supposed to prevent them from making a desperate move For a QB in the first round. Take the best player available and pick up a qb of the future in round 2.

The Mock draft has the Steelers taking TE Tyler Eifert or LB Javris Jones, with there first round pick. Both players are studs, so I will be happy with either one.

The Kolb signing means they still dont have a capable qb and need to draft one.
