How don't the pats still owe him his 12 million guaranteed? I know they were fighting it but never heard if the NFLPA dropped the challenge to the Pats not paying it or not.

He signed his 40 mill extension 6 weeks AFTER the double murder. There will be language in his contract that should make it fairly easy for the pats to get most of that $$ back

It was something like if there were any existing problems/circumstances that would lead to him missing time throughout his contract...aka murder..they would be able to get it back

NFLPA has yet to back down from it however..but that could be coming soon

I'm not so sure being isolated is all that much better. People have this impression that when an inmate is separated from general population it's somehow a big improvement. In reality most of those people are locked in a cell for 23 hours a day with 1 hour outside the cell for exercise and zero interaction with anyone other than a prison guard. That kind of isolation literally drives a lot of inmates insane.

Even if the Pats win a grievance against Hernandez it will be tough for the Pats to get much money back. There's already multiple lawsuits against Hernandez so it's unlikely the Pats would be able to collect anything until all the lawsuits are finished, and then they'd likely only get a fraction of what they're owed as the civil trials and lawyer bills will likely bankrupt Hernandez. They should be able to get off the hook from the remaining $3.25 million he's owed from his signing bonus as well as the 2013 and 2014 guaranteed salaries but that's likely going to be it.

Beautiful. This guy has been cheating for quite some time now... it's exactly why he's been able to compete at a high level at an older age. I bet he's done now - if he stops using this stuff and the NFL continues to test him.

Titans always get screwed on suspensions... we usually miss the impact by one game. It'll be nice not facing him week 4. I think this is the time we finally beat Luck. That dude's last name defines him - especially when he plays the Titans.
