Marshall had a year left on his current deal.

Edit: Marshall is saying it's a three-year, $30 million extension.

They went 8-8 last year with the worst offense in the league. They've definitely improved this offseason too.

They could end up with a better record... I would have to take a look at their schedule.

I'll probably predict 8-8 again, but a much better 8-8... rather than getting blown out every other week.

The Jets have improved significantly this offseason. It's like night and day on the offensive side of the ball. We went 8-8 with the worst offense in the league. We just drafted a serious safety in Pryor and our defense is very young other than Price and Harris. If even some of our players take steps forward, then our defense should be improved as well. It's ok. Sleep on us this year. Our team is getting better and better top to bottom thanks to Idzik.

Yet you still have the same problems you did the past few years, Rex. This year offensively it truly does rest in Genos hands, and your secondary is weak. adding Eric Decker and a washed up Chris Johnson does not make you significantly better. Your team made the same boneheaded moves mine did offense does not win games in a clutch defense does.
