I could see him going to us actually, assuming the Luries don't try to screw Jerry over in the process.

I cant see Eagles trading Samuel to a division rival.. I would be shocked if it were the Cowboys...

They basically traded Anthony Spencer to us and that guy should be quite a beast in Ryan's feast or famine system. Samuel may be outright released, $7 million is a lot when you just signed Nnamdi Asomugha.

I dont see why they cant re-structure Samuel's deal, unless he wants out, who wouldnt he want to play with a team stacked like the Eagles, if Vick can stay healthy, Eagles, along with Packers, are the favorites to come out of the NFC...

I think we're better than the Iggles when we're healthy. I wouldn't easily dismiss the Packers, Lions, Giants or Falcons either, the NFC is a lot tougher than you're making it sound.

I didnt dismiss the Packers, if you read my prior post i said.. "Eagles, Along with the Packers are the favorites"

But yes, when healthy Cowboys can be a good team too, and the moves Falcons have made were pretty damn good too.. This is going to be a crazy year in the NFL.. Cant wait till the season starts

Iggls suck

lol

But really its a good sign... I'm still not too worried about him given those cheesesteaks will probably mess up the signals in Andy's brain right before a call that would get them to a super bowl

Colts, Peyton Manning agree to 5-year, $90 million contract

Quote:
The Colts have Peyton Manning in the fold for five more years.

Manning, the Colts’ franchise quarterback since 1998, has agreed to a five-year, $90 million contract, ESPN’s Chris Mortensen is reporting.

Colts owner Jim Irsay has said that Manning deserves to be the highest-paid player in the league, but Manning said he was willing to take less than the Colts were offering if it meant they’d have more salary cap space for some of his teammates. Mortensen reports that Irsay was willing to go up to $100 million over five years.

NFL Network is speculating that Plaxico is going to sign with the Eagles. If that is legit, they are a machine this year. It's obvious they are going all in for this season to win a Super Bowl.

He'll, this shortened free agency period is so much fun I can wait. Sounds like fat Albert failed his first conditioning test with New England. Who didn't see that coming?

Citing a league source, the Charlotte Observer reports that the Panthers are interested in trading for Asante Samuel.
The connection is obvious because Sean McDermott, new Panthers defensive coordinator, held the same role in Philly last year. McDermott has been collecting former Eagles, including LB Omar Gaither and S Sean Considine. If any team can take on Samuel's large base salaries and cap numbers, it's the Panthers, even after they re-signed so many of their pending free agents. Carolina also has a need at the position after losing Richard Marshall.

If the Eagles win the Superbowl, I am going to feel sorry for the Cowboys, Giants, and Redskins fans, they are going to have to delete their empty Superbowl trophy case that they enjoy showing to Eagle fans on the message boards
