Tonight they're showing their biggest issue: administration.

Bad PI calls, phantom holds, etc are all issues that the previous and current refs have. I'd be surprised if it's any worse this year than previously.

But properly enforcing the penalties after they have been called. Calming and resolving fights. Not explaining that flags have been improperly thrown ("there is no penalty on the play for ...."). Those are all problems, and this game is just showing them en masse.

He had dropped some passes and they said on the TV they were checking his hands earlier. And then he wasn't out for most of the last drive. But apparently he's out there now, and there's nothing wrong.

Falcons had a rough 4th, but they got the job done when they needed to. Big win, and hopefully it propels them forward. The next few games aren't that rough, but the mid and end of the schedule could be bumpy.

I love Weatherspoon's "spoon" celebration. And this one is epic...

They even said Red Team at 1 point in the first quarter after the scruff. These Refs are horrid I didn't think they did to bad a job week 1 but this week they screwed up so bad.

They called a penalty on the wrong play in Seattle when Tate leveled Lee
They gave Detroit another down after penalizing them
They looked like idiots during the Atlanta game
NFL had to pull a Ref from the Saints game due to conflict of interest
Not sure what game it was but they didnt know what side of the field the cameras were on
They lost track of what down it was like 18x this week per game
They don't realize that every turnover and every TD is reviewed automatically, so why wouldn't they call the turnover and then review it to be safe

They aren't any closer to getting this resolved than they were before the season. The NFL is not going to lose this negotiation, they're dug in too deep at this point. They know the fans might complain and say they aren't going to watch anymore but the reality is nobody is going to stop watching because of poor officiating. The biggest sticking point isn't even money, it's that the NFL wants to hire more refs and have the ability to bench refs if they are graded poorly and the refs are firmly against this. Either the refs are going to cave or we'll have the replacements for the rest of the year.

Money is a big part of it, Most of the permanent refs have 40 Hour a week jobs as well as working for the NFL
