Dude whats wrong? U seem to be upset that the scabs are getting bashed! I dont know what to tell u. I aint the only one obviously so its obvious that they suck in a major way. No one is perfect but Im sure the regular refs will and have done a better job then any scabs that may come in. Just how it is. Dont know what else to say. Got Em!!

Did this thread turn into The Official Replacement Referee 2012-2012 Discussion?

Everyone should be happy the real refs are back in business. What's done is done the calls or whatever won't change, or be reversed. What's here today and the season beyond is to hope for the best that the NFL will not let this happen ever again. So let's move on!

he's just mad b/c the Falcons were undefeated w/the scabs and now the real refs are back....look out Falcons, Vikings, and Cardinals, your time to shine is done!!

I would too if I was there, but I wanted to because Fred Taylor will be inducted to the Pride of the Jaguars. At least I'll see it on TV, but I'm going to the Lions game next month.

just drop it CZAR its beating a deadhorse.. i think his dad or uncle was one of the replacements that is why he is defending them post after post and taking shots at the regular officals.. back to football.. whos ready for the Raiders to be 2-2 after this week!!! I AM

I understand the "Helmet was still on when the ball was out" thing, but tell me this:

Q) How do the Ravens take possession (recover fumble) on a play where Cribbs was hit illegally (Helmet-to-Helmet) when it was flagged and the penalty was assessed......

Nothing's wrong. I just think it's funny that there is a double-standard for the refs.

naw theres no double standard. When u have more experienced guys who are actual NFL refs, but they arent reffing games then of course the scabs are gonna be microscoped. Thats just normal in any situation. Is someone messes up or make a mistake atleast let it be the people who should actually be out there. The NFL was getting ripped for not taking care of the refs and bringing out these scabs. They felt it and finally made a deal. Thats the end of it. Got Em!!

The NFL also wanted to have the ability to remove officials who were not doing a good job, but the union resisted. It appears there has been some concession there, but the officials want to be able to make mistakes without having consequences. And nobody here seems to remember that a lot of the officials are not very good. Ed Muscleman makes EVERY game he officiates about himself. Are they better than what was out there? Administratively, yes. Judgement calls, it's a toss-up.
