The Jets would probably like to get rid of Santonio, but he is guaranteed $7.5 million of his $11 million salary next season, due to the terribly stupid contract they gave him which guaranteed the money if he was on the team's roster on the second day of the waiver period this past offseason.

Dallas looked horrible last night, and Chicago looked like they might have something going this year. Seems like both Dallas and NY Giants are very hit-or-miss this year- are you going to get the good team or the bad team? No one knows until the game starts.

5 interceptions and gets pulled in the 4th quarter.. Romo what's happening?

I wonder how long until Rex will have to start Tebow at quarterback? If Sanchez continues to play terrible, he'll have no choice. Right now Rex is probably scared Tebow might win a game or two right away, and the media would have a field day with that.

I was 99.99% confident that we would cut Legedu Naanee after he cost us the game last Sunday(he caught his first pass of the season then fumbled the ball for no apparent reason). Jabar Gaffney will definitely be an upgrade over Naanee. He just need to catch 1 pass and not fumble it and we're all set...

Making excuses? People blame _everything_ on Romo.

If Romo really is out after this season and they get a new QB, this Dallas team will turn into a 2-14 team next year.

Romo is a top 10 QB all time statistically. Romo hides just how terrible Dallas is.

Put Romo on even an average team and they are a superbowl contender. Instead he's stuck on a ridiculously bad team which somehow has people seeing the star instead of the players. Most of these starters wouldn't be on the practice team for Aikman's Cowboys.

I'd love to hear the QB which never has a bad night. Hint: If you try to name one, you are ignoring bad games.

I'd bet money if I posted a blind list of stats of several hall of famers + Romo you wouldn't be able to pick Romo out of the list as not belonging. People CHOOSE to believe he sucks.

For people who are anti-Romo, let me ask you a few questions:

1) Would you trade your offensive line for Dallas's?
2) Would you trade your defense for Dallas's?
3) Would you trade your coach for Dallas's?

If you answer yes to 1, 2, OR 3, you are blinded by the Dallas Star, and have no real idea just how godawful every aspect of Dallas's game is, except the QB and DeMarcus Ware.

I'd go so far as to say Dallas is the worst team in the league (except maybe the Jets).

*EDIT* And yes, the Jets comment is a joke, I couldn't resist.

All time QB rating:

1) Aaron Rodgers
2) Steve Young
3) Tom Brady
4) Tony Romo
5) Philip Rivers
6) Peyton Manning
7) Kurt Warner
8) Drew Brees
9) Matt Schaub
10) Ben R.

I admit that QB rating favors the modern game. But then, so do QB stats.

yeah but u can't compare guys like rodgers, romo, schaub, and brady to someone like Young.....young played for what....15 years??

to be able to maintain a QB Rating for that long is a real accomplishment. if any of those other guys can do it for that long....then that's something to talk about.

IDK...that's the way i look @ it.

I don't disagree. I just used it as a snapshot.

The type of stats you can compare are things like Yards/game, TD to Interception ratio, completion percentage, TD %, Interception %...things that aren't counting stats.

Romo is very good in all those categories. His Interception rate has been very low the last several years, but people remember when he was younger and don't realize it's gotten much better.

When he has a bad game everyone comes back with the "Same old Romo", ignoring that everyone has bad games.

The Brady's and Manning's of the world have 4 interception games and no one blinks. Romo does and people act like he does so 15 times in a season.

u don't have to plead your case to me....i grew up watching Favre and winning/losing games b/c of him for 15 years!!

if it makes you feel better, i've always thought Romo was overrated. just ask wolvie.

As I look at these stats by the way I'm blown away by Aaron Rodgers.

His numbers are unbelievable. He has the potential to go on to be the best QB of all time.
