Tannehill has completed 25 of 39 passes for 271 yards with 3 touchdowns and no interceptions and has rushed for 87 yards after ditching his knee brace at halftime against Jacksonville 2 weeks ago. I think the brace was bugging him a little bit...

Chad Henne had a couple of 7-9 seasons in Miami and drew yawns. If Ryan Tannehill were to get to 7-9 or better, it would be something just short of a party.
Yes, the mood finally is changing in Miami, even if the record isn’t.
Let's get to 8-8!

After 5 losses in a row, if we beat the Pats, It's going to be a big party anyway!

Miami has a lot of quality draft picks in 2013. They have Indy's 2nd young pick and Chicago's 3rd round pick. So 5 total picks in the first three rounds.

Not to mention they get a better draft pick. I'm hoping we lose to the Bills. Easier schedule next year plus we get a better pick > Beating a rival in a meaningless game.

For all of Gonzalez's impressive career numbers, his ability to avoid fumbles has taken on a legend of its own. He hasn't fumbled since Week 16 of 2006, and the last time he lost a fumble was in Week 5 of 1999 - a span of 217 straight games and 1,126 receptions
People were talking about the Law Firm last year and earlier this year, but good God .

And he's had a reception in the last 194 of those games (which is still 80 from Rice's record)!

Tannenbaum needs to be fired outright. No quality GM candidate is going to want the job as long as Tannenbaum is still with the team. Jason La Confora had a story (linked below) about how many candidates wouldn't want to be Jets GM if Tannenbaum is still with the team because owner Woody Johnson and Tannenbaum are close. In addition it was Tannenbaum that gave Mark Sanchez a contract extension and the terribly-structured contract that Santonio Holmes got that makes it virtually impossible to cut him despite the fact that he is due $11 million next year and has had 3 sub par and largely injury-filled seasons in New York

You replace the Colts with any AFC division champ and I see it as a possibility. I'm sure glad the Ravens don't have the chance to play the Seahawks till the bowl, they rollin' hard now.

The Browns have named Thaddeus Lewis as their starter at quarterback for Sunday's game at Pittsburgh.

interesting articles out there about award winners this year...

a lot of people have Luck as the Offensive Rookie of the Year. they talk about how many will not vote for him since he has 18 INT's... but he's thrown the ball 599 times already this year!

so while 18 picks is a lot, that is a sickening amount of throws!

and because i'm a geek... 599 / 18 = 33.3, so for every 33 throws (which for most teams SHOULD be less than a game's worth of throws) he throws a pick.

And RG3 throws a pick every 75 passes almost double lucks, with worse WRs and a line thats relatively unchanged since Manning was getting sacked less than 20 times a year.

Anything Luck can do RG3 can do better and with less talent.

You don't have to sell me on it, still think Jerry should've traded whatever it took to get to #2 and take RGIII this year.
