i've never liked brady. can't really put it into works either......he just comes off as being a dick to me.

If wasn't for Lee Evans last year he would have beat Brady last year. He out played Brady last year, its going take another game like that to beat them next week.

Same here. I mean Brady is a lot like his coach, he says pretty much nothing about nothing in interviews. There's just something I've never liked about him. What it is I can't really say.

I always find it interesting what folks who aren't Pats fans feel about Brady. I just can't relate to how anybody would think that about him since he is the LAST player I would call a "dick". He never trashes anybody publicly and always says the right things in interviews. Oh well, it's sports, I guess it's natural to not like better players not on your team.

Not to be a complete homer, if my Pats don't make it, I'd love to see the 49ers win the Superbowl.

Well I think it's a lot like how most feel towards Bill Belichick. Both he and Brady are essentially the same person in interviews. Both of them basically say nothing about nothing in every interview. They both seem like robots, devoid of any personality and kind of phony.

I forgot about Belichick. I might hate him more. I hate how he lists Tom Brady on every injury report. That and his other blatant cheating.

For me what I don't like, its really not his fault more of the medias fault. Its like he can't do no wrong, when he got in to that heated argument with Bill Obrien, all you heard was what a leader he is and a winner he is. Let that have been anybody else they would have gotten creamed by the media.

That's always annoyed me. The Patriots treat every injury as though it were top secret information.

Are you going to deny that most teams have 'cheated' at some point? Every team has cheated or had players' dirty secrets exposed. Not surprisingly, fans stick with them.

'Dicks' are guys like Cromartie who talk trash or Suh who deliver blatant cheap shots. Might be my fandom bias but I've had zero reason to but Brady or Belichick in the 'dick' column. Being boring and respcting other teams in interviews doesn't seem like such a bad thing to me. This is football not pro-wrestling.

That being said, I'm not out to tell anyone else what to think, even when pointing out gaps in the reasoning. I like you guys and all, but if you 'can't put it in words' I'm not going to agree with disliking.

I've never really seen a reasonable opinion of why people find Brady such a jerk. It's either because he's serious, points at the sideline, doesn't trash talk so he must be phony, he married a supermodel or something else that really doesn't make him out to be a jerk.

I'm a Patriots fan and I've never found him to be a smug jerk the way others do. I'd say he is quite bland in interviews, but he could just not like taking to a large group of people or finds it boring. That doesn't mean he's a jerk, just not an interesting person to spotlight.

If he was more like Aaron Rogers for example, who comes off quite approachable, this discussion wouldn't even be going on. It's not like Brady comes out calling players a-holes like Darelle Revis and others have done.

Flacco outplayed Brady in last years AFC Championship and earlier this year in week 3 (Brady has 1 passing TD total in his last 2 games against us). But yes if we lose all the blame will be on him.

Every year since 2004 the Pats are viewed as unbeatable, and yet find a way to lose.

This is probably the best defense they've had since 2004, so maybe it'll be different this year, but I certainly wouldn't be sizing them for rings just yet.
