Exactly right. I'm a Steelers fan so all I here is how Big Ben is a rapist, and how we cheated in the 70's. We should have lost against the Seahawks in the Super Bowl. So I know its hard not to take it personal when its your team, but its what makes sports great. I respect the hell out of the Pats, but I hate them if there in my teams way of winning a championship.

Get back to me when they win a Super Bowl. It's nearing a decade and they've lost to two Giants teams who had far less talent than the Pats had. I was actually rooting hard for the Patriots during those two Super Bowls and they let me down both times.

Your team has two Super Bowl wins since the last time the Patriots won it. Nothing to be envious of.

I'm really surprised the Patriots opened as a 9.5 point favorite over the Ravens. I know Vegas always sets Pats lines high because the public tends to bet on them but that is way too high. I will be surprised if this isn't a close game and I could see either team winning by a field goal.

The 49ers opening as a 3 point favorite makes sense to me. The 49ers looked great Saturday night but it's going to be completely different having to go on the road in a very hostile dome that will be incredibly loud.

I think the spread for last year's Pats-Ravens AFC Title Game was 7.5 or 8.5, not too far from this year's re-match and the PAts only won by 3 last time around. I'll bet it's the same deal with New England winning but not covering.

I actually like this post here. You admit your team has dirty secrets. Fans who think their teams are free of blame just make it OK for ppl to hate them back.

Said this last spring that peyton shouldve picked 49ers.

No 10 degree weather -- no brady in the conference.

Playoffs wouldve been a cake walk to super bowl.

Brady hands down on the football field is a winner, he studies, he makes those around him better, and he makes some of the best decisions in the game when on the field.

That being said those that don't think he didn't know about Spygate, or hes not a giant tool off the field are delusional as he is by denying any involvement.

How quickly people seem to forget the whole Bridget Moynahan, Tom Brady incident. Would be nice if someone asked Tom is he has seen his firstborn child yet or if he is still denying the kid lives. Now you want to call him a dick for this by all means do so, but don't do it because you don't like the guys success on the field.
My hate has nothing to do with jealousy. I just think he's a dick. He can go out and win all the Super Bowls he wants (even if it's for my Falcons), and I'll still think he's a dick.

I'll give that to Peyton.

Indy without Peyton wins 2 games.
NE without Brady wins 11 (and don't even try to say Cassell is good....)

I like how they haven't won a Super Bowl since the cheating was exposed.

Anyone else think the Broncos should have attempted a play w/ 30 secs and two timeouts left? I've seen Manning and Brady take a knee when they could have won the game with a FG. Who is calling the plays the QB or the coach?

Don't think that could help catch INTs or allow freak catches by two WRs who aren't even on the team anymore.

not saying Ryan isn't elite, even though i don't think he is yet, but the general consensus is that the Ravens defense has always carried Flacco. but if Flacco gets to the Super Bowl, he would have beaten Peyton Manning and Tom Brady on the way there!

absolutely.

it's not like they were out there with Joe Webb or Rex Grossman for god's sake. they have one of the greatest and proficient passers in league history on their team against a defense that had played about 65 snaps already on defense, 30 seconds, 2 timeouts and an above average kicker in a kicker friendly stadium and didn't even TRY.

and after seeing the Ravens score an impossible TD just 10 seconds earlier because of bad defense, you don't think something similar could happen? with that much time and the timeouts, they could have ran at least 4 or 5 plays to at least attempt a field goal.

but seeing as the Broncos did $h*t in the 2 OT's (horrid play calling) and that 14 of their points came from special teams and they still lost, i don't know how much faith they had in an attempt at the end of the game, but my god at least try one or two passes!

Peyton is lucky he got his one SB ring otherwise he'd be looked at as much more of a playoff bust than he already is.

I know the Falcons did and won, but I don't have a problem with the Broncos. As Prime Time said on the NFL Network last night, the Falcons HAD to. Also, Peyton hadn't been making deep passes all game. It was all short dump offs, and that's not going to move you down the field very fast.

Have you seen his numbers in his more recent playoff losses? If he played for teams that could run the ball and play defense (like say a New England team), he'd probably have 2-3 more.
