Yeah, but this is his second year in a row having neck surgery and due to the lockout he wasn't able to rehab with the Colts trainers. I wouldn't be worried if he was just missing the preseason but with the Colts front office talking about the real possibility of him missing the start of the season I would have thought the Colts would have tried to upgrade their backup position.

Pats are just covering their bases. They usually bring in a dozen or more veterans who are unsigned and work them out, to see what kind of shape they are in. That way if they have injuries during the season, they have already looked at possible replacements.

The Patriots work out players constantly, it's not worth posting unless they sign them. They've recently worked out Darren Sharper, T.J. Houshmandzadeh, Renaldo Hill, Matt Roth, Mark Clayton, Dashon Goldson, and Tommie Harris and Roth was the only player they attempted to sign. It seems like Belichick is a big fan of bringing in players for a workout even when the team doesn't have a need, because I can't imagine a scenario where the Patriots would add another running back.

CNN is showing videos of a fan brawl at the Baltimore game this weekend plus two different fan brawls at the San Francisco game that are separate from the two shootings at the SF game this weekend... You might want to think twice before taking your kids to a NFL game again...

if we do end up going i'll be snapping pix of practice, the tour, and the hall of fame.

i'll post any pix as well.

last year we got there early enough to high five guys as they rode by on the bikes....clay matthews slapped my hand!!

we're gonna get there before that so we can sit in the bleachers...if the bleachers are full, i'll snap pix of guys as they ride by.

Speaking at halftime of NBC Sunday Night Football ex-Colts coach Tony Dungy emphatically stated that Peyton Manning will play in Week 1 "unless he's dead."
It's refreshing to hear Dungy's optimism compared to the alarmist Twitter page of owner Jim Irsay, who jokingly hinted that he was pursuing Brett Favre to step in. Dungy noted that Manning's consecutive games streak means as much or more to him than any other record. The former Colts coach also said Manning hates to miss one snap much less an entire game. We have no doubt that Manning will be under center in Week 1.

I dunno why everyone is getting bent out of shape over Manning not playing until the season opener which is about 3 weeks away!

Everybody just needs to calm the fudge down.

Because mike & mike today said an indy beat writer wrote an article saying the last time manning missed alot of preseason was when he had that leg problem & wore a brace - the colts went 3-4 in that timeframe.

After his leg was better they went 9-0.

- Well it wont get the #1 seed.
- What if his neck isnt improved during the season.

1. Getting #1 Seed isn't always a good thing.
2. They'll have Tebow if Manning isn't ready.
3. With Manning @QB when is the last time they didn't have a winning season?
