We're all entitled to live inside a bubble and block out things we don't like or truths we wish to not accept.

To be quite honest I really don't give a damn what anyones opinion is on Tom Brady or Colt McCoy. They aren't making me any money so I'm not going to get emotionally invested in defending them. If you wish to grind the pepper of Joe Flacco, feel free to do so. A debate without snarky overtones and hostility is always enjoyable, but I don't think I'm going to get that out of you.
My first comment was that the Pats were flat out beaten by a superior team in the Ravens this year after you said the Pats handed the game to the Ravens due to Tom Brady being bored lmao. WTF is that nonsense!? Then you proceeded to spout off about some nonsense in gagaland about Colt McCoy and the Browns being elite because they beat Tom Brady and Drew Brees in a regular season matchup . How can you possibly compare that to a game in the AFC Championship ? It's a totally different beast. Honestly, I could care less about Joe Flacco, but I at least have the stones to say that he was better than Tom Brady in the AFCCG as well as the Pats being dominated by the Ravens in that game. You seem unable to type those words, and I understand. I do. You can't admit when your team just doesn't have it. Entitlement and all .

Same could be said for the 49ers/Falcons. And both ended on an unflagged holding call.

that call @ the end of the game could've just as easily went against Crabtree.

i'm glad the ref's let them play. a Super Bowl shouldn't be given to a team hoping for a penalty in the end zone.

Funny how most people only have the right to complain when it's a penalty against their team. If it's not, then it's let them play. I knew Bowman interrfered with Roddy White, but at least White had a shot at the ball, the contact was withing 5 yards, and he still wasn't past the first down line had he caught the ball. What happened to Crabtree was just ridiculous, especially after that Pass Interference call on Chris Culliver.

On another note, I keep telling myself it's just a game, but that doesn't make it feel better when you're a die hard Niner fan. Came into work to get my mind off of things, and that sure as he11 didn't help. Unlike the NBA, next year isn't guaranteed.

Anyone enjoy the Super Bowl commercials? I thought they were crappy tbh. I was expecting some good stuff especially since there was a lot of hype this year for them. Maybe its bc I'm in Canada and we might get different commercials or something but the ONLY commercial I thought was good was the iron man 3 trailer....everything else was sh!t

I hate the Ravens but I thought the no-call on the 49ers final offensive play was correct. There was a very minor hold but not enough to warrant a flag, and Crabtree was initiating plenty of contact on the play.

I thought the 49ers should have used their final timeout before the play. The play clock was about to run out and the offensive line clearly didn't have enough time to get their blocking set up which is a big reason why the Ravens got through so quickly. That's a situation where Harbuagh should have been running to get a timeout called because the team clearly wasn't ready to run such a pivotal play.

Preliminary ratings say last night's Super Bowl was the highest-rated Super Bowl of all-time. From the link:

Quote:
CBS Sports’ coverage of Super Bowl XLVII featuring the BALTIMORE RAVENS’ 34-31 win over the SAN FRANCISCO 49ers on Sunday, Feb. 3 (6:30-8:45 PM and 9:15-10:45 PM, ET), earned an average overnight household rating/share of 48.1/71, the highest-rated Super Bowl in the metered markets in history (2/6/11; 47.9/71; FOX; Green Bay-Pittsburgh).

This year’s 48.1/71 is up +1% from last year’s 47.8/71 (N.Y. Giants-New England) in the metered markets. Rating excludes from 8:45-9:15 PM, ET during power outage.

The Super Bowl XLVII rating/share peaked at 52.9/75 from 10:30-10:45 PM, ET.

both the Atlanta game and last night's game were good no calls IMO. If it's iffy like it was in both cases just let them play.

I'm still loving that Flacco went through the future (Luck) and the current greats (Brady and Manning) to win this. One of the best playoff runs ever.

Due to the amount of people in the USA and the popularity of the fact that its a SB im sure its safe to say every year will be a ratings increase over the previous year lol.

I do have to say it's nice getting competitive Super Bowls nearly every year. As a kid in the late 80's-mid-90's the Super Bowls were almost always extremely lopsided blowouts. Especially so when the NFC was dominating. For a good dozen or so years now almost every Super Bowl has been very competitive.

I thought yesterday's super bowl was one of the better one's I have seen. Just sucks the 49'ers couldn't tie it up or come back. Didn't want the game to end.

+1. the SB was boring 75% of the time in the 80s and 90s. Now it's a great game every year.

Rating is seperate than viewers though.

Example last years super bowl was the most watched ever but wasnt the highest rated ever.

the TV stations should love that the Superdome is bidding for the SB again in 5 years. LOL. Roger Goodell said last night's power outage was a freak thing and will not affect their chances of getting the SB back one bit.
