Texans, Ravens, and Saints on that list has to be a joke. Texans have never been good... yes, I said never - not even last season when they went 12-4. Kubiak is a joke. Don't get me wrong, I'll gladly admit the Texans are better than the Titans and that Munchak is the bigger joke. We've improved immensely this offseason though. Texans have added a 35 year old Ed Reed... certainly won't hurt, but they lost more than they gained.

Texans are just the most overhyped team in the history of the league. Year in and year out, ESPN shows their boner for them, asking "could this be the year for the Texans?" If they start out 2-0, they're an automatic #1 in the power rankings and favorite for the Super Bowl.

Colts aren't that good either. AFC South just sucks. I'll say that.

I love when people count teams out just because some older players leave. These are the same older players that everyone said would handicap the Ravens last year.

I said considering the Ravens the BEST team right now is a joke. They lost 8 starters, 3 of which are Hall of Famers. No SB champion has ever lost that many starters.

Also, this is a new season. Last year means nothing at this point.

In regards to those older players, what about Ellerbe, Kruger, Williams, and Pollard? They're all relatively young. They added Chris Canty (average), Michael Huff (sucks), and Dumervil was a great signing. However, he's never played in a 3-4 defense, so we'll see how that goes.

Ravens are way worse than they were on February 3. Nowhere near the best team in the league.

Have you guys ever been good? Certainly not in my opinion. In 2011, the only reason the Texans made the playoffs was because of the joke of division. In 2012, they were better, but not by very much. What happened when the Texans played a quality team?... Total embarrassment. Like I said, the Titans get embarrassed all the time. This isn't about which team is better. Obviously the Texans are, but their window of opportunity is closing fast.

That win against the Ravens was impressive, but that's when they were missing all their players.

They've only beaten the Bengals in the playoffs. And let me remind you that is a team that has not won a playoff game in over 20 years.

And it is a proven fact that the Texans are overhyped. Everyone said they were the best team in the league all the way until the collapse at the end. They said the same thing the beginning of the 2010 season after they beat Peyton in the opener. They started mentioning Texans in Super Bowl talks, but they finished 6-10.

What the bloody hell are you talking about? The past couple years he played in a 4-3 system, but in 2009 he led the league in sacks when he was in a 3-4

I agree that our window is closing and I agree that we have been hyped. As a season ticket holder since year 1, I have grown tired of having expectations raised only to be shot down like all Houston teams. I swear Houston teams have a curse.
If you look at the poll, you will see that I am not a homer and did not pick my team as the best but I do believe if there is going to be a list of teams discussed as possible SB winners that we deserve to be on that list. When we lost Cushing last year, that really hurt our defense so I attribute that to our late season collpase. Well that and I am still not a fan of Gary Kubiak.

Yea, I agree with pretty much all of that. I've been a Titans season ticket holder since year 1 as well. Didn't follow the team until they moved to Nashville. I'm glad you aren't a bandwagon fan because I've noticed a ton of them the past couple years.

I may sound like a homer, but I think the Titans have a chance to compete for the division. It's really all up to Locker at this point. We've had an amazing free agency. And I'll say Locker actually looked fine in pretty much every game I've seen him in before he separated his shoulder in week 1. He wasn't the same after that. We'll see. If he can just be average, I think we could be a 10-6 team.

That might not be best for our franchise though. I want to clean house, and I'm definitely ready for another owner. I like our GM for the time being though.

Are you guys ever going to take a WR in the 1st round? I don't get it... That's been a huge need for a long time and it seems like nothing is ever done about it. I was afraid you guys would sign Wallace, Bowe, or Jennings in FA.

I dont think the Titans have any shot at the division title. You need either an elite QB or an elite defense and the Titans have neither. And there are teams ahead of them in their own division that do.

He's probably agreeing with you that the Titans don't have a shot, but he's laughing at you for considering Luck and Schaub elite QBs. Not even Colts and Texans fans would agree with that. Luck led the league in turnovers and had a 74 passer rating, but he's elite? Lol not even close. He will certainly get better though. Schaub is a solid QB, but not elite.

Luck was a rookie last year. Peyton Manning had a 26/28 touchdown to interception ratio as a rookie, and he became one of the greatest ever. Luck is only going to improve on an excellent rookie season.

Shaub is definitely not elite but he is servicable and they have a very good defense. Luck is approaching the 10 of QBs in talent and ability and he is only a rookie. He is going to get better and be one of the top QBs in the world before long.

Shaub's problem is he lost a lot of years due to injury and I think that will forever impact his legacy. Much like Chad Pennington who should have been an awesome HOF QB but just could never recover from injury after injury. Kinda sad [for Shaub] cause he was a beast at Virginia.
