I still don't know what we are going to do at #8. We want to trade down, but so does everyone else. I know we like Tavon Austin a lot, but his 173 pound frame really worries me. (Although he is an electrifying playmaker) I'd like to see us take the top quarterback on our board and be done with it. It would certainly be reaching, but if you get at the very least a solid starting quarterback for the next decade it's worth it. Any of Nassib, Barkley, or Manuel would be good fits for our offense and have the potential to be very successful for us.

Everyone wants to trade down because after the top 10 the draft is horrid. Everyone is pretty mediocre its why most GM are not happy with this draft.

I hope he does well, but it was a risk the Falcons weren't willing to take.

But I have no clue. I really don't follow the NFL too closely during the offseason.

I did a mock draft on Sunday night. Here is is:

[Show spoiler]1. Kansas City Chiefs – OT, Luke Joeckel
2. Jacksonville Jaguars – DE, Dion Jordan
3. Oakland Raiders – DT, Sharrif Floyd
4. Philadelphia Eagles – OT, Eric Fisher
5. Detroit Lions – DE, Ezekiel Ansah
6. Cleveland Browns – CB, Dee Milliner
7. Arizona Cardinals – OT, Lane Johnson
8. Buffalo Bills – QB, Ryan Nassib
9. New York Jets – OLB, Barkevious Mingo
10. Tennessee Titans – DT, Star Lotulelei
11. San Diego Chargers – OLB, Jarvis Jones
12. Miami Dolphins – CB, Xavier Rhodes
13. New York Jets – TE, Tyler Eifert
14. Carolina Panthers – DT, Sheldon Richardson
15. New Orleans Saints – S, Kenny Vaccaro
16. St. Louis Rams – WR, Tavon Austin
17. Pittsburgh Steelers – WR, DeAndre Hopkins
18. Dallas Cowboys – OG, Chance Warmack
19. New York Giants – OT, D.J. Fluker
20. Chicago Bears – OLB, Alec Ogletree
21. Cincinnati Bengals – S, Jonathan Cyprien
22. St. Louis Rams – OG, Jonathan Cooper
23. Minnesota Vikings – CB, Desmond Trufant
24. Indianapolis Colts – DE, Datone Jones
25. Minnesota Vikings– MLB, Manti Te’o
26. Green Bay Packers – RB, Eddie Lacy
27. Houston Texans – WR, Justin Hunter
28. Denver Broncos – DE, Bjoern Werner
29. New England Patriots – CB, Jamar Taylor
30. Atlanta Falcons – DE, Tank Carradine
31. San Francisco 49ers – TE, Zach Ertz
32. Baltimore Ravens – S, Matt Elam

I'm going to make a final one tomorrow before the draft. I've been saying Nassib to the Bills makes a lot of sense for a long time now, but I highly doubt they reach that far for him. I do think he'll be gone by their 2nd round pick though, so they'll have to trade back in the 1st if they want him.

There are definitely a handful of players that will go in the first round that I have left off my mock, but I didn't know where to place them.

Mayock just released a mock that's very similar to this, so I feel pretty confident.

I would look for the lions to trade up and get Eric Fisher they are pretty high on him. and we have no LT at all.

Citing a "source (he) trust(s)," CBS Sports' Clark Judge reports the Falcons are trying to trade up for a cornerback.

Judge reports it would be Dee Milliner or Xavier Rhodes. Perhaps the Falcons' most needy position is right cornerback, opposite LCB Asante Samuel. And it's been clear for over a week now that GM Thomas Dimitroff isn't satisfied with the 30th overall pick. We tend to believe Milliner would be Dimitroff's preferred target. Dimitroff is tight with Milliner's college coach, Nick Saban.

Rhodes and Trufant will be there when ATL drafts i think

Maylock has the pats taking Rhodes and ATL taking Trufant..but we need WR

Titans:

I see CLE taking Smith and Vikings taking a WR. They need one even with the addition of jennings

I do wonder if we really like Nassib as much as people say, or if we're using that assumption as a smokescreen to the quarterback we really want to take. It's anyone's guess. I like Nassib, but I also like Barkley and Manuel. If we end up with any of those three by pick #41, I will be very happy.

In regards to the Falcons trading down... trade with the Titans at #10 and give us all your picks!!! Surely Rhodes will be there, if not Milliner as well.

I think they'd settle for Lane Johnson if LT is the route they want to go.

Fine by me... I am wanting Jordan, Ansah, or Lotulelei for the Titans badly... I want QBs and OL to go before we pick.

I also might be in the minority here, but I really want no part of Milliner or Mingo.

I don't really like any of the QBs in this draft, but the ones you listed are my favorites, if I had to pick one.

You never know with these QBs though.

I've mocked Smith to the Browns and Patterson, Allen, Hopkins, Austin, etc to the Vikings in past mocks.

However, the Vikings have no starting CBs. That's a much bigger need. I really like Trufant too.

This is a very deep WR class. The Vikings could target Quinton Patton in the 2nd or Aaron Dobson/Da'Rick Rogers in the 3rd-4th.

That's just it, it's a crapshoot with any of the four quarterbacks. Any of them could easily be either a stud or dud.

I really disagree with that... Our OL was horrendous last year. That's true. But half of that was due to injuries. David Stewart is our RT, and he's aging, but still good. Whatever RT troubles we had were when he was lost for the season.

We just signed Levitre to a 6 year/$46mil deal to play LG. Roos and Stewart = one of the best OT duos in the league. Levitre is one of the better LGs in the game.

Warmack/Cooper made a lot of sense before the Levitre signing. We need an RG... I'd rather draft a pure RG who has experience playing there rather than Warmack/Cooper who only played LG.

Larry Warford or Barrett Jones in the 2nd round.

Man I'd take Cooper or Warmack. Warmack first then Cooper. If we could get one of those guys, I'd be a happy camper.
