Geno has performed really well except for this one practice, but it could be attributed to his ankle giving him problems. There's a lot going down in Jet town, and it's Rex's stubbornness to go with Sanchez that is causing problems for Geno.
How is Rex not already fired? He is a horrible...HORRIBLE head coach. OK D coordinator...but that's it. This season is his last..it has to be or i would expect jets fans to try and murder him

He's not a very good coach, but you're underestimating his handling of the defense. He is a defensive guru. How about that ass whooping he put on your Pats in the playoffs ? He is very clueless when it comes to the offense, and should stick to being a defensive coordinator.

You're mad... Understandable. I would be too if a starter on my favorite team tore everything in his knee during the preseason.

But I saw the hit and I didn't have a problem with it. This is coming from someone who HATES the Texans to and would love to call them dirty if I saw something of that nature.

Unfortunate injury... Keller was one of my sleeper late round TEs in FF this year and he was going to be a big help to Tannehill.

When in doubt, just blame Goodell.

Same with RG3 don't matter how good you are if you can't stay healthy for years it isn't worth it

The Giants sucked in the entire game, I hope they do not play like that against the Cowboys in 2 weeks

Quote:
He led Buffalo in scoring for the last 10 seasons. He’s the most accurate kicker in team history. Unfortunately even the accomplished careers must come to an end, and on Monday Rian Lindell’s time with the Bills came to a close as Buffalo released their long-time kicker.

Lindell, 36, connected on better than 83 percent of his career field goal attempts with Buffalo (83.3%), and had his share of game-winning attempts in his 10 years with the club. His most recent was the one that gave Buffalo the overtime win in Arizona last season in Week 6 (19-16).

Perhaps his most memorable was his 28-yard game winner on Sept. 25, 2011 to end the Bills’ 15-game losing streak to the New England Patriots in a 34-31 victory.

Signed in 2003 as a free agent, Lindell is the most accurate kicker in team annals from inside 20 yards (100% T-1st). He also ranks first from between 20-29 yards (95.5%), between 30-39 yards (92.4%), third from between 40-49 yards (68.4%) and first all-time from 50 yards plus (52.5%).

Had Lindell made the team for the 2013 season he would’ve likely set the team’s all-time scoring record. With 980 career points with the Bills, he needed just 32 to surpass the team’s all-time leading scorer Steve Christie (1,011).

The Bills have drafted kickers each of the past two seasons. John Potter was selected in the seventh round of the 2012 draft, but was more of a kickoff specialist. This past spring Buffalo took Dustin Hopkins in the sixth round.

Hopkins has battled with his consistency in training camp practices, but unquestionably has the stronger leg. In his first two preseason games Hopkins has not missed on four attempts, though his long on those four kicks is just 39 yards.

The Florida State product has also put three of his eight kickoffs through the end zone for touchbacks.

Lindell, who was good on 305 of his 306 extra point attempts with Buffalo, also stands 10th all-time in games played in team history with 152. No other special teamer appeared in more games for the Bills than Lindell.
A sad day in Buffalo, but something most Bills fans knew was coming. Hopkins is going to do a great job for us and is considerably younger than Lindell. I want to personally thank Rian for all his kicks over the years, and I hope he can find a team to kick for this season. He's a really good guy, and I wish him and his family nothing but the best. I was glad to see us do the right thing, and release him soon enough to find a new team.

Looks like the Von Miller suspension is about to become official:

Quote:
Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller likely will be suspended at least six games for violation of the league's substance policy, according to league sources.

The announcement could come as early as Monday but it is expected to be formalized sometime this week, according to the sources.

Miller is not likely to go forward with an appeal, though all sides were trying to finalize the suspension's conditions.

Miller met last Thursday with the NFL Players Association with some hope he could have the suspension reduced to four games, sources said, but another source familiar with the process was convinced it will be at least a six-game suspension.

Regardless, Denver will have to begin game-planning knowing Miller will not be available.
The Broncos first 6 games are against the Ravens, at Giants, Raiders, Eagles, at Cowboys, and Jaguars.

Will make it a lot easier for Witten and Bryant to scorch that aging secondary, I love it.

...while giving up 5 turnovers and making the game into a nail-biter that the Cowboys manage to eek out a loss.
