It's not available on either the PS3 or 360 this year. The NFL is clearly starting to gauge interest in different areas for Sunday Ticket since their exclusive contract with DirecTV runs out after the 2014 season. It's going to be interesting to see what direction the NFL goes with it after next season.

♦For fans who are not currently DirecTV subscribers but are able to receive DirecTV service, they will receive a promo code entitling them to $10 off per month for their first year of service and one year of NFL Sunday Ticket Max at no additional charge.

♦For fans who are already DirecTV and NFL Sunday Ticket Max subscribers, you can access NFL Sunday Ticket on your computer, tablet, and mobile devices using your current DirecTV username and password.

♦For fans unable to receive DirecTV service, each Madden NFL 25 Anniversary Edition will include a unique code to access the 2013 regular season (17 weeks) trial of NFL Sunday Ticket on computers, tablets, and mobile devices- including access to the award-winning Red Zone Channel.

Keep in the mind that the third group – “fans unable to receive DirecTV service” – would be very limited in scope and not those who simply have cable instead of DirecTV. That is for the people who can’t get DirecTV where they live. So the Anniversary Edition of Madden NFL 25 will really only appeal to hardcore Ultimate Team players and those starting new service with DirecTV or that fall into that specific group that can’t get DTV even if they wanted to.

We have direct tv in my area, so that means I wouldnt qualify to use this promo? This is confusing

[UPDATE #2] I’ve now called in and spoken to DirecTV representatives, as have others, and been told unless verification is made determining you are unable to get DTV service where you live (based on satellite positioning or living in an apartment building) you will not be granted access to the anything this deal offers. [UPDATE #2] I’ve now called in and spoken to DirecTV representatives, as have others, and been told unless verification is made determining you are unable to get DTV service where you live (based on satellite positioning or living in an apartment building) you will not be granted access to the anything this deal offers. Again…buyer beware unless the language of the terms is altered

If you have access to get DirecTV, I don't think it will work for you. This is more for people that can't get NFL Sunday Ticket (live in apartments, lots of trees around their house, etc.) rather than people who choose to go with another cable/satellite service.

DirecTV pays a boatload of money for exclusive rights, and are real douches about it. There are going to be a lot of people shelling out money for this promo and get screwed over.

Yeah, I got DTV for Sunday Ticket and it's been the one and only reason I've stuck with them for this long. Just as soon as I can, I'm getting rid of them. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be coming any sooner than 2015.

I'm interested to see how many different cable providers are going to be getting NFL Sunday Ticket starting in 2015. If it's most of them, DirecTV is going to be losing A LOT of subscribers.

I live in an apartment and get my FULL sports package via the cable box (no dish). Do you guys not have the option of a hi-def cable box through your local cable company? I get every NHL, NFL, MLB and NBA game at a reasonable monthly rate.

The Buffalo News' Tim Graham reports the Bills fear Kevin Kolb's concussion may end his NFL career.

The Bills are left with Matt Leinart, UDFA Jeff Tuel, and Thad Lewis behind E.J. Manuel, who is also on the shelf with a knee scope. The Bills are going to end up rushing back Manuel, in all likelihood, to start Week 1. Kolb signed a two-year, $6.1 million contract in March that contained $1 million guaranteed. He's likely headed for injured reserve.

Cable doesnt get the Sunday ticket, I only get the 3 games on Sunday from Fox CBS and the NBC Sunday night game. Doesnt help Timewarner has a dispute with CBS so I might not even get those games.

DirecTV has exclusive rights with NFL Sunday Ticket until 2015.
