Vikings agreed to terms with RB Adrian Peterson on a seven-year, $100 million contract.
The biggest deal ever given to a running back includes $36 million in guaranteed money, which is $6 million more than Chris Johnson landed earlier this month. If Peterson makes it through the entire contract (which is unlikely), he'll make an average of $14.3 million per year through 2017. It's an astronomical deal for a running back, but it's hard to argue Peterson, still only 26 years old, hasn't earned it by averaging 1,445 rushing yards and 13.5 touchdowns since coming into the league in 2007. He's coming off his "worst" season, which saw him rush for 1,298 yards while finding the end zone 12 times.

LOL there's a toss-up, much like the Raiders and Broncos game. I think we win convincingly in week 2 and close in week 3 to start the season 2-1. Hopefully we can beat the Redskins as well to go into the bye 3-1.

Our secondary sucks as it is and we'll be short-handed back there, not to mention breaking in a new safety. Oh and we suck against stopping the run, so expecting the Jets to notch at least 130 yards that way against us. Our offense IS good enough to do some damage against their vaunted defense so it will be close but we have no kicker and it's the 10 year anniversary of 9/11. Still say we lose 21-20 as our rookie kicker's game-winning try sails wide late in the 4th.

The Cowboys front line is decimated, the Jets front 4 are going to have a field day with them. Hell its one of the reasons I benched Felix Jones for Shonn Greene in fantasy this week. I fully expect the boys to make a major move to upgrade that line but the right side is all rookies or new starters this year, they dumped there center, I mean they really left Romo and Jones wide open. Same thing they did the year they let Emmitt Go.

Kosier is going to have to make all the line calls, we're in deep crap if Parnell has to start instead of Smith since Parnell is just a converted basketball player/defensive end. Still surprised they didn't at least bring in a swing tackle but I guess that's what Derrick Dockery is for.

Boys are just in a rebuilding year, get used to it, Jerry Jones is going to be using that excuse for years to come, problem is I see him becoming the next Al Davis within the next 10 years or so, I see the exact same pattern of the Raiders from the late 80's and the Boys of the late 90's... going to be sad when Jones is Senile

Jones IS senile. I wouldn't call this a rebuilding year, call it more of a year where we should be pretty good but not contenders, kinda feels like 2003. See 8-12 wins, we still have an explosive offense and a decent pass rush that should be amped up by Rob Ryan.

Texans RB Foster is Questionable, he may not play.

As a Colts fan, I'll still be pulling for them to get an upset victory.

Raiders Broncos toss up? I think not, last year the Broncos got slaughtered. Probably a fluke but you have to go with Raiders on this one.
