I was ridiculed for saying the Dolphins would make it into the playoffs as a 5th seed and challenge New England for the division.
I was scrolling through some power rankings and stumbled upon: Titans #26, Steelers #16... Well, great logic there. Ravens were also #17, Redskins #19 and Giants #20. Lol... Reasoning behind the Titans being so low was that they haven't beaten a quality opponent yet. However, the Steelers haven't beaten ANY opponent yet and lost to us, yet they are 10 spots higher. I tell you what... you just can't make this up. Time to lay off the PCP, kids. |

Since they play the Bucs this weekend, I know that means they'll have to play the Falcons and Saints. Depending on when and where those games are, they could be losses. All depends how healthy the Pats get... I think you know with their current team the best they could hope for is one playoff win wildcard weekend. What's funny is that's considered a failure. Here in Nashville we'd be flipping cars and streaking if we won a playoff game. It's been too damn long now. Hell, I'll just take a minute to look at the Pats schedule... Yea, it definitely gets tougher after these first three games. I see 6 games that could easily be L's. A lot of the Pats success is riding on the health of Gronk and Amendola. |

The Seahawks aren't a good road team... and Jacksonville would just about be the furthest city with a team from them. If it's in Seattle, I see you guys losing 45-0. If it's in Jacksonville, I see you guys losing 31-6. ![]() I still want an explanation for why the Titans have to play them in Seattle this year. Since you're a Jags fan, I know you remember how our division played the NFC West in 2009. Well, the Titans played at home against the Cardinals and Rams and away against the 49ers and Seahawks. Now, this season we are playing at home against the Cardinals again and away against the Seahawks again. That's a fudge up by the NFL if you ask me. Paul Kuharsky tried to claim that the NFL rotation reset, but he's just making this crap up... I checked out other divisions and everything is rotating just fine and normal for them. The way we're playing and the way the Seahawks suck on the road (and almost lost to CAR), we'd at least have a chance if they played here. |

![]() This year we got the Niners as a home game in London but looking at our 2009 schedule, the Jags had away games against SEA & SF, with home games vs. AZ & STL. Never noticed that during the NFL rotation comparing with teams in our division ![]() EDIT: I'm trying to figure out why the Jags played the Raiders two years in a row at Oakland. That's probably why MJD got hurt both games. ![]() Last edited by MaCruz; 09-18-2013 at 07:36 PM. |

My question is if they had to tweak the schedules this year to balance travel then that means that with the 4 year rotation of AFC divisions versus NFC divisions that in 2005 there was a problem with balanced travel? Can I blame that as to why we sucked in 2005? ![]() |

Like we played in Buffalo in 2011 and 2012. 2011 was due to both teams finishing 4th in their division. 2012 was due to playing the entire AFC East. If you want more info or don't fully understand, I can basically tell you 14 of the 16 games your team will play in 2020 (or any year) if you wanted to know. It's a simple rotation. So when people complain about "OMG the NFL is screwing us with this schedule!" they are totally wrong. However, as I said earlier in this thread, I do question the randomization of the schedule. The order of the Titans schedule is almost always brutal at the start of the season... as if they want to eliminate us immediately. Thus, we went 0-6 in 2009 and ended up finishing 8-8. |
