Ware can be dominant but he lacks the killer instinct the truly great defenders have and he hasn't been the same since he started hurting his neck 3-4 years ago. Watt is the player Ryan wanted 2 years ago, shame Jerry didn't listen to him and ran him off to New Orleans.

Jerry is an idiot. Guy is not fit to be a GM. Great owner; horrible GM. He is useless as long as there is a salary cap.

But I do think Rob Ryan is one of the most overrated coaches out there... Admittedly, I am basing this opinion largely on his defenses' rankings.

I remember in 2011, I wanted the Titans to take either Robert Quinn, Nick Fairley, or JJ Watt - because I hated pretty much all QBs outside of Dalton - and I didn't want to reach for him.

Imagine if somehow, someway we had taken Watt at #8 and traded up a few picks in the 2nd to get Dalton... or perhaps Kaepernick. There were actually reports that we were one of the highest teams on Kaep leading up to the draft... but I admit I thought he would suck.

Either way, we would've found ways to make it not work with those guys. We aren't creative enough. I'm convinced Locker would be a hell of a lot better playing under Harbaugh and that coaching staff than he is here. We could be utilizing him better, but we aren't.

if the Titans do fall short this year I have a feeling they are going to do everything in their power to trade up for boyd

I don't pay enough attention to college to really fully evaluate these guys, but from what I've seen of Boyd, I like him. I think I am sold on Bridgewater though... he'd be my pick.

QBs are so damn risky... I feel like they're always going to bust - and most of the time they do.

As of right now, around what pick # is Boyd projected to be taken at?

as of now Bridgewater is the first qb taken off the board and offs are he will be going to the Browns or Jags.. and the Jags seem like the worse of the teams this year to land the #1 spot.. eh depends on the qb and system.. Bradford and Smith are both looking great this year and it may finally be their time to shine. Boyd is projected to be the 2nd qb taken in the first round.. probably a top 10 pick depending what what teams are in the spots and their needs..

The Colts desperately want a power running game under rookie OC Pep Hamilton, similar to his offenses keyed by Toby Gerhart and Stepfan Taylor at Stanford. "We need people who can get us yards, can keep defenses honest," said Grigson. "We’re going to run the football. Trent has proven he can run it." The Colts realize their pass protection is an issue, and Andrew Luck can't continue to absorb hits. Richardson is going to pile up carries as a Colt.

I just don't see us giving up on Locker unless he's flat out awful this year. I'd describe his performance as unimpressive, but he hasn't turned the ball over and he has a passer rating of 84. Playcalling is the bigger issue for us right now.

If they hit on those picks. Richardson is a damn good looking running back, he is going to make the Colts a much better football team. There is no guarantee the Browns will get two players of his caliber.

Browns have been terrible drafting and the only reason they even have any good players is because they have a high draft pick every year they're bound to get someone decent eventually

One way this deal is great for the Colts is how cheap Richardson is going to be for the next 3 years. Rookie contracts in the new CBA have huge signing bonuses so while Richardson's deal is 4-years, $20.489 million, the Colts are only going to have to pay $6.8 million of that.

After this week, it's an almost certainty that the AFC North will be 1-11 as a whole.

We could very likely see a year in which an AFC North sends a team to the playoffs with a losing record.
