RGIII needs to get back to his read option. That is his bread and butter, without it he's not the same threat.

He's playing because he isn't Sanchez.
Y/A is a much better statistic to gauge a QB. Sorry not marginally better but much better. One's a rookie and the other is a veteran who has been in the league for 5+ years. I think he is the guy until he shows that he isn't the guy. He's playing because Sanchez is hurt, and since he has been playing he's shown that he should be the guy when Sanchez gets back. Geno just needs to cut down on his mistakes, which he will make since he's a rookie.

His problem is he can't the read option will work but at what cost? What he needs is oline, WRs same as most teams lol.

I'd also say last season created a good amount of ego in him and maybe it wasn't rightly deserved.

This statement seems very true from what I've seen. A dose of humility might be good for him.

I mean the dude was godlike with S* around him but check out Peyton or Tom Brady they STFU and doesn't matter if they throw 7 touchdowns in a game or go 16-0 they are back working like the 7th rounder about to be cut. I think he worked real hard but I just don't see that from him even though he's so well spoken and gives great pressers.

He needs to work harder then they do because as good as he is he isn't them, and he doesn't have the players around him they do (now not taking into account the hardships Brady went through this year that were unforeseen)

0-3 Vikings vs 0-3 Steelers in London this week, then 49ers vs Jaguars later in October. 1-11 combined record, ouch!

Wish they would get rid of that game. Once is bad enough.

The Raiders played hard last night in a game that I thought was gonna be a blowout so they can't be that stupid but it was a boring though.

Don't alert the cavalry. There's no need for a media stakeout on the front lawn as Brett Favre cruises by like Forrest Gump on his riding mower. Expect no white smoke to emanate from the retired quarterback's chimney.

Brett Favre isn't making an NFL comeback. But he could if he wanted to, insists agent Bus Cook.

"Today, he could play today," Cook said Monday night, via the Mobile Press-Register. "I saw him the other day. He's in the best shape I've ever seen him in, physically."

"His arms look like a blacksmith's arms. He rides a bike probably 30-50 miles a day. He runs four or five miles a day. He's coaching at the high school and they're undefeated. He loves it. His body fat is 7.5 percent and he weighs 225 pounds. He could play today, better than a lot of them out there today."

Did it slip Cook's mind to include the kittens Favre saved from a tree and the children rescued from a burning building?

It's not an outrageous proposition that the 43-year-old Favre still could play at the NFL level for a short stretch with the right mix of surrounding talent, similar to his magical penultimate season with the Minnesota Vikings.

At this stage of his career, Peyton Manning isn't carving up defenses with physical gifts such as a rocket arm and quick feet. He compensates by improving his already special pre-snap adjustments, blitz recognition and pinpoint accuracy while taking exactly what the defense gives him.

Might Favre succeed to a lesser degree with a similarly strong supporting cast? For better or worse, we're stuck with the likes of Andy Dalton, Christian Ponder and Jake Locker instead.

What do you guys think... Stick with Minnesota's defense or pick up Indy's D (they face the Jags)?

I think I'm gonna pick up Indy. Can't pass up getting to start a defense that faces the Jags. For my Titans sake, I hope it does not work though.

If the Jags wanted a carnival freak they'd just sign Tebow.
