Smith does have a arm, he just doesnt' have that down field WR.. Avery is his only option. and he didn't have much in San Fran either.. Crabtree, Bowe, Davis, Baldwin, Morgan. These guys aren't deep threat WRs.. so its hard to judge Smiths arm when he very rarely gets the chance to throw it down field.. but that's okay the coaches know what kind of WRs they are working with and Smith has no problem getting them the ball.. Yes he is a good runner and showing it this year more then ever.. Last year Smith was leading the league in Completion % before being replaced. he has over a 76% winning percentage and his QB rating was in the top 3.. I guess that is a formula to not win games? that is almost as crazy as Walruswarrior telling me earlier today the Jets are getting 9 wins this season

Here we go again. Like I said I'm not sure what your hard on for me is, but it's quite unhealthy. I wasn't even talking to you and you had to mention me. I said 8-9 wins and then said 7-9 wins isn't out of the realm of a possibility . You're just looking for an argument lol.

It's easy to get in your head. I enjoy making the comments for that exact reason.. umm you contacted me today like you always do.. go check the history, ever single time youll see you make first post and I respond.. at one point you were getting so crazy you were responding on your wall oppose to mine.. oh and I had to leave a redsox comment on your wall, it was a must

From what they said after the game last night the Rams are extending his contract. That being said the Rams got punked by the Cowboys and now by the 49ers. Man that's dismal and embarrassing to be manhandled 2 games in a row, even Deion Sanders said that, and I bet Jeff Fischer is regretting taking the head coaching job with the Rams.

Part of it is due to college football as it's huge down there unlike up here in the north. Same reason why FLA is not a pro sports state. College football all the way for them

All it takes is a winning season to turn the crowd attendance around.

Speaking of theJaguars, we're the smallest market obviously. When we were winning in the 90's we would have large crowds just about every game during the Tom Coughlin era. No tarps covering the seats. Our downhill during the years was losing records, drafting, personnel decisions, management, and the lack of acquiring big name stars have costs this city the excitement we once had. Inspite all this there was barely any media attention covering the Jags, even when we were winning.

I'd try to package him and a pick and try to get a top 1-3 pick (unless they're already up there)

Matt Cassel will start Sunday's game against the Steelers.
Cassel worked with the first-team offense Friday and will make his debut in Week 4 with Christian Ponder still dealing with a rib injury. It's not a downgrade to Minnesota's offense. The Vikings decided that a healthy Cassel gives them a better chance to win this week. If Cassel plays well on Sunday he could keep the starting job even when Ponder returns.

I still don't see us losing to the Jets despite what some are saying. Chiefs should be interesting, and I'm worried about that one. Obviously have no expectations against the Seahawks in Seattle. If it were here (like it should be), I'd give us a fighting chance. The Niners haven't impressed me this season, so I would give us a chance in that game... I'm just afraid between now and then they will make some trades and bring in a solid WR or two. Also Patrick Willis should be back maybe even Aldon Smith at that point.

Tell me about a brutal schedule. The four games after the Titans: A road Monday night matchup against the Falcons, back-to-back home games against the Steelers and Patriots, and a visit to Cincinnati. Then a home game against the Saints before we finally have our bye in week 9. I can see us winning maybe 1 game. That's why a Jets win this week is crucial.
