If someone would have told me the Browns would have more wins than the Giants, Steelers, Eagles, and Redskins in week 5 combined I would've called him/her insane.

Just game 1. It was Kershaw, so it was gonna be tough (we are TERRIBLE against the premier lefties). But we'll get Greinke tomorrow!

If they would have gotten a first and a third, it would have been better. I just think they could have gotten more for him.
But you're making it like Richardson was elite.. he had a decent rookie year, he is replaceable. 95% of RBs only have about a 5-6 year life span.. so Richardson lost one already, even if the Browns opt not to get a RB in the first round which I'm sure they probably will pass considering they have 2 2nd rd picks as well, they will focus on offense, they're defense is very good.. they just need to focus on Line, QB, RB, WR.. Gordon and Cameron are excellent, if they can grab another talented WR either FA/ or rookie and bring in another Oline and QB and decent RB they really do have a scary team.. and Hoyer did sit and watch Brady play football for 2 years, look at Romo and Brady, they were nobodies and just sat and got their opportunity.. Hoyer could be the next,

Nothing what I said implied or suggested that I thought he was elite. He had more than a decent rookie season. 1200+ yds from scrimmage w/ 10+ TD's is better than decent. All I'm saying is that they didn't have a hole at RB and now they do. What if they don't find a RB and waste resources trying to plug that hole. You don't give up a young talented player who is under a reasonable contract for a late 1st rounder.

who knows how late it could be, the colts could go 8-8 and now the Browns are looking at a middle round pick and their pick.. RB's are a dime a dozen, this isn't a running back league anymore, the majority of the teams split rbs excluding less than a hand full.. clearly NFL organizations know more then any know it all fan or even me and you.. I personally agree with them here.. no organization would pull such a move if they thought it would be doing more harm to them.. their is a lot of stuff that goes on behind the scenes that we will never know..

From the looks of it, you must be a Cleveland Browns fan.

He was having a fine rookie year until last night. His knee doesn't look good, unfortunately.

I'm a nervous wreck. I didn't get much sleep last night, I just really hope EJ's MRI results are better than expected. Man am I stressed.
