Thursday night games are terrible. Teams aren't fully recovered from their previous game and every week there's players that aren't playing due to minor injuries that would be playing if the game was on Sunday. I would love if Netflix/Google got the streaming rights to all NFL games, even if they weren't live.

I know the NFL has met with Google about potentially taking over Sunday Ticket once the deal with DirecTV expires after the 2014 season. There's also been rumors about Apple being interested as well.

The NFL has denied the reports that they are discussing adding more Thursday night games.

I'm really interested to see what the NFL does with NFL Sunday Ticket after next season. It really doesn't sound like the NFL and DirecTV are going to come to an agreement over the exclusive rights for NFL Sunday Ticket.

Bruce Matthews (OL Coach) and Rob Turner (worst center in the league) are to blame. There is nowhere for CJ to go - ever. Our play calling isn't helping him either. I swear we are coached by 3rd graders. Goal line situation and CJ is not on the field. Umm... You can put Jackie Battle in at fullback and CJ at halfback and at least try to confuse defenses a bit. Having Battle alone back there means one thing - run up the gut. It's a different story if Locker is playing because we can PA bootleg. We never run CJ off our tackles, and I have no clue why not. We need better scheme blocking. Bruce Matthews, leave now. You're an Oilers/Titans legend, but you can't coach. We need Shonn Greene back because he'll actually be able to get the tough yards behind this crap line.

Warmack has been disappointing too, but he'll get better. Levitre has been a total waste of money so far.

Would be nice to get a W against SF, but I won't hold my breath... Mostly worried about Kaepernick beating us with his legs (we gave up multiple third downs to Wilson on the ground because we didn't properly plan for him) and Vernon Davis. Our defense will keep us in this game. Our offense is a joke though, and it'll need to do something to come away with a W. We need it badly.

Either way, the Colts play the Broncos, so they should help us again. The AFC South was 0-4 this week and it'll probably be 0-4 next week. After our bye, our schedule opens up and we'll roll.

Colts suck, so I'm not too worried about it. We'll sweep them and win the division. You can quote me on that.

Anyone who thinks Andrew Luck is as good as ESPN doesn't watch him play games. They just get brainwashed by the ESPN crew and NFL fans. As I've said before, if Luck is a god and Locker is horribly inaccurate, why does Locker have a better completion percentage, higher attempt per pass, and a higher passer rating than Luck? ESPN can suck a wang.

You can get all NFL games on PS3 like ... costs a lot though, few hundred I think.

On XBMC, I can find streaming Thurday night football... crap quality but easy to find and watchable. (and there is a version live on NFL.com too)

Coach Doug Marrone said E.J. Manuel (knee) will miss another 4-6 weeks.
In that scenario, Manuel will return for Week 11 against the Jets at the earliest. The Bills have a Week 12 bye before hosting the Falcons in Week 13. If we were to guess, Manuel won't be back any time before Week 13. The Bills will continue to trot Thad Lewis out as their starting quarterback in the meantime. Matt Flynn will be Lewis' backup, while Jeff Tuel will be the No. 3.

My problem is with the comment that Schaub makes this team something. I am not saying that every team has a better QB than us, I just don't think he is the main reason we have had successful seasons recently. It is the whole team that has led to the success and it is the whole team that is the reason why we are not doing good now.
One reason for our success was because the O-line was one of the best in the league that it allowed Arian Foster to have holes to run through and that same line provided protection for Schaub, who is not mobile at all. Now the O-line is looking like one of the worse.
Another reason for the success is our defense finally started coming on strong a few years ago and that helped our offense. The problem now is that our offense is turning over the ball and our defense is not causing turnovers. We are -12 in the turnover margin. Our defense is #1 in yards allowed but 26th in points allowed.
The biggest culprit for our failures this year is our coaching. Conservative and predictable playcalling is making it easy for the opposing defenses to stop us. Also, we never seem to do any in-game coaching adjustments.

Bullseye. Our coaches never change up the offense and since late last year, other teams have figured out what we're doing and we haven't made an adjustments to try and change things.

And since the offense has struggled the players on defense are trying too hard to make big plays and as a result are committing penalty's or letting up big plays themselves.

I mean we started 11-1 last year, since then we have went 4-8 with pretty much the same team and very few injuries. That shows me that coaching is the most to blame.

Reminds me a lot of the difference between the 2008 Titans and 2009 Titans. We start 10-0. Then we go 3-9 after that. It's a sign of a team's championship window closing. Texans are about to need an overhaul... Titans did it too, and now we appear to be turning things around right now.

It's a shame we couldn't have played the Texans the past few weeks - because we would've been able to get a W from you guys - should've won in week 2, but we gave it away.

The Cowboys released defensive tackle Jay Ratliff today. Ratliff has missed the entire season with a groin injury. Before the 2011 season they signed Ratliff to a $40 million contract extension ($18 million guaranteed) despite the fact that his contract didn't expire until after the 2012 season. He ended up playing poorly in 2011 and only played 6 games last year. The Cowboys will have an almost $7 million cap charge on next year's cap for cutting Ratliff.
