I can't see them going into Denver and winning that game.

Poor Vikings, Monday Night Football tomorrow, Sunday Night football next week and then they get a "break" against the Cowboys on November 3. Smells like they might be 1-7 at the half-way point to me.

The Jets became the first team to hold Tom Brady to less than 50 percent completions in two games in one season

We're gonna have sweet draft picks. C'mon, DA.

Brady has the worst receiving corp I've ever seen him have, at least since the early part of the 2000s.

Yeah and you're in a division with 3 good to really good teams and your two best players may walk in free agency so those draft picks might not help much.

Who would be considered their good players right now? MJD has been downright terrible.

Jacksonville has 2 decent receivers in Blackmon and Shorts, of COURSE MJD has been terrible, they're stacking the line on him in every game since they know there's almost no chance any of Jacksonville's QBs will make them pay for it. I actually think Jacksonville is worse than the 2007 Lions that went 0-16, at least that team was competitive in some of their losses. Will be a 4 team race for Clowney - Minnesota, Jacksonville, Tampa Bay and St. Louis. Tampa Bay and Jacksonville have the inside track, there's a chance they will BOTH go 0-16, wonder what that would do for the NFL's public image.

Bad day for injuries. I thankfully overslept and was too lazy to switch Cutler with Romo!!! I still lost big time in that league, won my 2nd game in a row, and overall, in the other league.

Sad for Cutler. I hear it could be a BAD groin injury.

2014 is gonna be such a weird year for my Bears. Like 20-some starters have their contracts ending this year, and you can already see the injuries to Melton, Cutler and Tillman probably ending their time in Chicago. I wouldn't doubt if the whole Defense is sent packing in the off season.

Go figure....under Lovie they had a great D but stunk on offense, now even a backup QB can drum up 41 points, yet their D couldn't stop a cold.

I heard both Finley and Cushing could be CAREER ending injuries.

The big mistake the Bears made in the off-season was letting their defensive captain walk without having his replacement waiting in the wings, they either should've groomed someone else behind #54 or offered him a bit more $ to come back. Cushing will be fine, Finley will probably be fine as well, he was spotted moving his extremities on the way to the hospital.

the new pro bowl format is interesting and it'll be cool to see the fantasy draft to form the teams

but the game itself will still be glorified flag football

Yeah, well ridding the team of Lovie Smith HOPEFULLY ended that crap. He had the players on the D making so much money, that they never bothered with the offense and wasted so many years of Cutler. They finally fix the offense, and now all those aging high priced defense members are playing like crap and it would've hurt too much to cut them...most are making most of their guarantees right now.

I think Bostic will be a great Urlacher replacment. Luckily, DJ Williams was out all Pre-Season, so the dude got in four games already, so it's not like he was just thrown to the wolves. In fact, he was the only one I saw today that looked like he gave a damn on the D.

I think SOME, like Briggs and Peppers, are just playing soft cause they are butthurt Smith was canned. Neither have played very well at all. Tillman did for awhile, but then he keeps getting hurt.

Tim Jennings looks awesome one week, I swear I didn't see him once today!!!

Urlacher was a good leader, but he was SO bad last year. He just couldn't help stop the run anymore. They offered him 2 million to return, he said he could get more somewhere else and the entire rest of the NFL said....NO!!!

The Bears D right now needs more speed and more players that care about playing. Peppers HAS to be cut in the off season. Briggs may survive another year or two, but I think Tillman has to go too. I like him, but he's always hurt.

I also think the new Management maybe should've started over with the D, but they felt they could get 1-2 more decent years out of them all. Remember how they went and got a entire NEW O-Line, TE, FB for the offense this year???
I'd bet the farm the Bears D will be 85% new faces next year.

Rid the Lovie Smith stain from this team!

I agree. Whoever gets the #1 pick is going to be weak at quarterback and with the rules like they are now it's very hard to win without a quality quarterback. The Giants are the only really bad team right now that I could see taking Clowney at #1, but I don't think they'll be bad enough to get the #1 pick.

I wouldn't be shocked if Finley retired. He's been talking about how his son and grandmother don't want him to play and that he was afraid of what playing football was going to do to his body long-term. He's made about $18 million in salary during his career so as long as he hasn't spent it foolishly he should be financially set for life.
