Not to mention the Iggles really weren't playing for anything except the opportunity to be the #3 seed instead of the #4 seed, assuming(and most do) that they will beat the Cowboys. We REALLY need Sean Lee to play and DeMarcus Ware to play as if he were the dominant pass rusher he used to be.

I don't think Coughlin will get canned, he may choose to retire but the Giants aren't going to fire him. He won a Super Bowl 2 years ago and the Giants aren't the type of franchise to fire a coach that soon after a success. If he returns then he'll be on the hot seat next year (the final year of his contract), and I think he'll revamp his coaching staff with a new offensive coordinator.

Also, as Moviefan mentioned the Jags won't fire Gus Bradley. It's his first year with the team and while this season hasn't been very good the team has come on late in the year and kept playing hard. With their roster and lack of quarterback the Jags were going to be a losing team regardless of the coach.

Another coach who could be gone is Dennis Allen in Oakland. He should keep his job considering how terrible the roster was when he took over and the lack of cap space and draft picks due to Al Davis, but it's too soon to know how Mark Davis will act. There was a story yesterday that Allen wanted to extend his assistant coaches contracts past this year but was denied by Mark Davis, so that could indicate Allen will be gone.

The brutal truth is the guy was probably a juicer so once he lost that advantage he probably lost a little of his toughness too, he may end up just as Shawne Merriman did. Dominant before getting busted and mediocre and banged up afterwards.

basically each team needs to win + all the teams above it to lose to get in

dolphins (need ravens to lose or chargers to win to make it multiple team tiebreaker)

Yeah the AFC is a mess but that's because there's so much mediocrity over there, then again no one can tell who the top team in the NFC is either.
