Yeah and that ball Witten missed that led to the interception was also costly. It sucks but oh well, at least we lost now since our D was most likely going to get demolished by Brees.

OMG, the league just reported that Chargers should have been called for illegal formation on the game winning kick. KC should have gotten another kick.

hey but what done is done. I know it happened to the chargers one time this season as well, where the ref's said they made the wrong call against the chargers after the game was over, so this is karma

Yeah it is what it is. I just hate when they come out after the fact and say oops we mess up. The Steelers don't have anyone to blame but themselves for sucking so bad at the beginning of the season. Go luck to you guys next week.

i think when the refs do that they should be fined, for not getting the call right during the game. also if the chargers play like they did today at bengals it won't be an enjoyable game

If any team deserved to be screwed out of the playoffs it's the Steelers.

And I HATE Philip Rivers for so many reasons... including the fact that the idiot only put up 7 fantasy points for me in my championship game against the effing Raiders. I missed out on $300.

Dumbass Titans. We just had to go out and win our last two games against the bottom-feeders of the league (who also both beat us earlier in the season)... cost us a few spots in the draft and saved Munchak's job. Great. Stuck with the dipshit for another season.

8-8 at best already... unless we miraculously draft a quality QB. There definitely won't be one there at #11. I still want Aaron Murray if he's there in the 2nd - even though he won't be ready for next season. It would be a bit of a reach, but we don't have a 3rd round pick.

1. Hire Darrell Bevell as HC
2. Hire Rob Chudzinski or Gary Kubiak as OC
3. Cut CJ ($8mil), Wimbley ($6mil), Stewart ($6.4mil), Fitzpatrick ($3mil) & save nearly $25mil... invest it wisely on FA pass rushers.
4. Draft the best OT available and Aaron Murray

Instantly way better.

great win today.....and to send the Bears home was even better!!!
I think Green Bay has a little bit of a chance at Lambeau to beat the 49ers. But that's about it, I can't see them beating anyone else in the NFC playoffs to advance further.

Uhh not true. Their fans are spoiled and brag about 6 rings all the time... They're cocky, arrogant bandwagon fans.

If any team deserves it, they do. Just sayin'. Doesn't make it right, but I find it funny.

What it sounds like to me, is you have been trolled hard by Steelers fans. So now you hate the Steelers. I'm pretty sure if the Titans won six rings you and your fans would be braging too. Nothing wrong with being proud of your team.

And so Black Monday Begins Brows fire there head coach

Quote:

Browns informed Rob Chudzinski he has been fired as head coach.

News of Chudzinski's impending termination didn't surface until Sunday morning, when ESPN Cleveland's Tony Grossi reported there were "bad vibes" surrounding Chud's job security. ESPN's Chris Mortensen later reported Chudzinski would indeed be fired, and the move was made official in a Sunday meeting with team brass. Aside from the Browns' 4-12 record, there was no reason given for Chudzinski's dismissal. It's possible that club leadership already has its next head-coaching target in place via a wink-nod agreement. Profootballtalk.com is reporting Chudzinski's staff has been retained, at least for now.

I can't stand Rivers either. He *****es and moans all game long to the officials. You can't brush by him without him crying for a flag.

The Viking have fired coach Leslie Frazier. Dan Snyder and Mike Shanahan are currently meeting, so Shanahan's fate should be known soon.

Just heard that fate and they are saying on Mike And Mike in the morning Shanahan is next. Black Monday for a lot of coaches in the NFL today. Hopefully Jason Garrett goes as well.

It's now being reported that Mike Shanahan and his entire staff have been fired.

I would be surprised if Garrett gets fired. Jerry Jones has staunchly defended Garrett and said last night that Garrett is safe.

It may end up that no more coaches are fired. Mike Munchak of the Titans is the most likely coach to get fired, but his status seems truly uncertain, especially after winning their final 2 games (albeit against 2 of the worst teams in the league). It sounds like the Lions are likely going to keep Jim Schwartz, which may have to do with the $12 million buyout he'd be owed if he's fired.

He isn't going anywhere. One thing I would like to see with Garrett is for him to pick his own staff, offensivee and defensive coaches etc. instead of Jerry plugging in someone who Garrett didn't pick. Let Garrett pick his own staff and if that doesn't work next season then he will be gone for sure. This staff with 800 different voices going in 800 different directions doesn't work.
