Yeah, the parallels between these two players are obvious. Their situation is almost identical in terms of what they accomplished (or didn't ) prior to getting their long extensions.

We'll need Fasano and Mcgrath to step up and not get hurt. Defense wasn't exposed but hurt. Hali and Houston were hurt.Luckily Ried let our starters rest the final game and part of week 16.I'm happy with where were at as we've been in a downward spiral for quite a few years. But I expect the Chiefs to win Saturday.
I wasn't the one hating on Bowe. I actually wanted us to go after Bowe in free agency last year. I considered him to be the most underrated WR in the league.

Maybe this is just a down year for him... can't believe he was never suspended for the DUI. Was it his first offense?

If Hali and Houston were both healthy, I would pick you guys to win. But the Colts are always that team that does just enough to find ways to win. A little luck here and there and a few mistakes made by their opponent is all it takes.

I hate the Colts, and I hope you guys win.

Is your signature a prediction? Or did you mean to put "AFC South Champions"?

20 teams could have won the AFC South IMO, so I certainly wouldn't consider that an accomplishment yet.

Its not blacked out yet.

The problem is a mix of the way they handled selling playoff tix this year for season tix holder opposed to other seasons + with rogers being out awhile + a short week + a holiday week + expanded seating stadium + bad weather.

Yeah, that sounds like a bit of a clusterF to me. I guess there is still a bit of hope then.

I don't get why the Packers don't have a clause in their season ticket agreement that if you buy season tickets you either have to buy playoff tickets or you lose your season tickets. The Packers have over 100,000 people on a waiting list for season tickets, so it's likely very few people would give up their season tickets rather than buy playoff tickets.

When is the NFL going to get rid of their Draconian blackout rules? It's really unfair that so many great fans might not be able to watch playoff football.

Vikings linebacker Erin Henderson was arrested yesterday for DUI. It's Henderson's second DUI arrest in less than 5 weeks, as he was also arrested for DUI on November 27. Tom Pellison of USA Today says the Vikings will likely release Henderson once rosters are unfrozen.

Ew Mike Zimmer to the Vikings for their HC vacancy? I wanted Mike Zimmer, I hope he doesn't go there.

Parallel based on win-loss maybe.

Romo's stats destroy Cutler's. It's not even close. Even in Romo's worse stat, turnovers, Cutler is significantly worse at that too.

Cutler's had better teams too.

Peyton Manning is only 15 TDs behind Favre for all-time total touchdown passes, if he can hold up he should shatter that record.

Yeah 17, not sure why I said 15. Still, if Manning can somehow play for 2-3 more seasons with these kinds of weapons around him, there's no reason he can't do to the passing TD record what Emmitt Smith did to the rushing TD record.
