Schedule IV isn't that bad, not even sure it's a full felony charge depending on how much he had.

Irsay is screwed it is a Felony charge, fact is they are charging him with 4 counts of felony possession.

Colts owner Jim Irsay is facing preliminary charges of four felony counts of possession of a controlled substance in addition to operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Late Sunday night, police in Carmel, Indiana pulled over Irsay over for "driving at a slow rate of speed, stopping in roadway and failure to signal turn." They say they they found several Schedule IV prescription drugs not associated with the bottles found in the vehicle. Irsay allegedly failed several roadside field sobriety tests. It appears he was not legally drunk, but authorities believe he was under the influence of the pills. The outspoken son of former Colts owner Robert Irsay will be subject to the league's personal conduct policy.

Okay then, guess my training as a pharmacy technician hasn't come far enough, granted I imagine if it were schedule II or I he'd probably be going to prison for a long, long time.

Im sure your training is fine, we have no idea how many pills he had on him, if your in a class or something this might be a good thing to ask for those of us that want to do stupid things like drive under the influence after we make 1.6 billion dollars

That's all right, you're not one of my professors or a prospective employer. I have a feeling I will do quite well in the pharmaceutical business, especially since it's the bright window at the end of a very depressing tunnel of dead-end jobs. Melton and Allen to Dallas would be nice, on cap-friendly contracts. Still need more than them though, pretty sure last year we had THE worst defense in the history of the Cowboys, still can't believe Kiffin didn't get fired completely.

I don't understand the logic behind these guys.

All this money, and they can't hire a driver. You know the NFL has a # to call if you're drunk to have someone pick you up.

Embarrassing for the Colts.

Is it just me or was Irsay wearing a Kenny Powers outfit when he was arrested? I seem to recall Irsay's dad having substance abuse issues too. Look at some of his interviews from back when he was talking publicly about moving the Colts out of Baltimore and it was obvious he was wasted most of the time.

DRC signing for 7 mill a year with Giants..so he did come down from his 9 or more he wanted. Surprised the jets couldn't match that at all

Still LOL @ the Colts signing Davis to 10 mill a year...joke.

No wonder Irsay went bonkers

DRC to the Giants reportedly for 5 years 35 million. Depending on the details of the contract, I'm pissed. How do you not pull the trigger on that? That's a doable contract for a young Pro Bowl level talent.

It's not a matter of couldn't, but rather a matter of wouldn't. Idzik is a tough hard line negotiator. I'm not against what he's trying to do, but he could eventually face a huge backlash from the fanbase.

Well at 7 mill a year...i wouldn't be happy if i were a jets fan based on the current market and the D rex likes to play. He needs physical corners.

It's 5 for 39...so 7.8

Annual salary average means nothing. It's all about guaranteed money and his signing bonus. Only the first year is 100% guaranteed. Decker's contract is for 5 years, but it's only guaranteed for the first two years. It looks like we're going to carry 35 million in cap space over to next year lmao...

I saw that, but I'm still waiting for a yearly breakdown of his contract as well as his signing bonus. I want to see how the Giants structured his contract. I assume they signed him to 5 years in order to spread the bonus out over 5 years. Even guaranteed money is not really guaranteed if you know anything about NFL contracts and the salary cap.

#Giants CB DRC gets a five-year deal worth $39M with $14M guaranteed, source said. He’ll receive a $10M signing bonus and $16M over 2 years.
