Theyre going to experiment with the 38 yrd ep for wks 1-2 of the preseason but does that also count the hall of fame game cause that actually doesnt count as part of week 1 its just a game unto itself ?

Last month, when Jason La Canfora of CBS reported that the Dolphins were trying to trade Mike Wallace, the Dolphins denied it. But the report isn’t going away.

La Canfora reported today that the Dolphins have renewed their attempts to trade Wallace during the league meetings, and that some interested teams are doing their homework on Wallace. La Canfora even floats the possibility of a trade between the Dolphins and Eagles, sending DeSean Jackson to Miami and Wallace to Philadelphia.

Did I say that? I don't really take either seriously, but believing every rumor is silly. If enough sources come out then it becomes more believable. Also in this case I would tend to discount it as the huge cap hit & Dead money they'd incur if they traded/released him. I'd also tend to believe it as more likely due to them having a new GM and he wasn't the one that signed him, but I am still not buying at this time for the reasons I stated.

Peyton Manning, always the classiest...

He asked Condon how much Tom Brady made, and when Condon told him the Patriots' signal-caller banked $18 million a year, Manning said that would suffice.

“I don’t want to make a penny more than that," Manning said.

The Broncos offered $19.4 million, and when Condon told Manning the quarterback wasn't too happy.

“I told you I didn’t want to make more than Brady!” Manning chirped.

Condon apologized and asked to speak with Manning's wife, who ultimately coaxed him into accepting the deal.

Even though it was a reduction in salary from his deal with the Colts, in which Manning made $26.4 million in his first year, Manning didn't want to burden the Broncos with a huge deal. He wasn't sure how his neck would fare, so he was completely open with the team.

“They’ve got to be protected,” Manning told The Denver Post in March 2012. “That's why the whole medical -- I was as open book as I could be. I told them exactly how I feel, what I was working on. They have to know everything to make their decision."

Good. I don't think Manziel would fit with Norv Turner as OC. I know a lot of mock drafts have the Vikings taking him, but I hope not.

The Browns did not have a rep at the Texas A&M pro day. Interesting. Does this mean they want nothing to do with Manziel. If the Vikings and Browns are out (they could still draft him), who is left? The Raiders?

The Browns didn't have any representatives at Bridgewater, Carr, or Bortles pro days either. Either they are not planning on drafting a quarterback in the first round or (more likely) they're trying to hide who they truly have interest in. Pro days are fairly pointless anyway, the Browns can still bring all the players in for a private workout.
