Hopefully that's true. I'm anxious to see when the Patriots and Vikings play. I'll be going to that game and I've been to the last two games the teams have played in Minnesota (1997 and 2006) and it didn't matter when they played because it was in a dome, but this year (and next year) they'll be playing at the Gopher's outdoor stadium so if the game is in November or December it could be really cold.

I am too. Miami signed Moreno to a 1 year 3 Million deal, wish they would have gone after Johnson instead if it's around the same amount.

No one should lose sleep over CJ anymore, but if they use him right and Vick can miraculously stay healthy, he can be pretty good. His 1000+ yard rushing seasons are over though.

The biggest problem is that the majority of CJ's carries go for 1 yard or less. So you better open up monster holes for him or get him in open space with screens or he is virtually useless.

I wouldn't be worried. The stars have to align for the Jets to have a good offense, with or without CJ.

I'm interested in the money he got... that will determine whether or not it was a good deal.

Per reports the base value of Johnson's 2-year deal is $8 million, plus another $1 million is available via incentives. That really doesn't give the full story though, as guaranteed money and first year salary are what really matter in a deal like this.
